Pragmatic Ice Control

Diegofsv 1368

A control deck build around limiting the ICEs on the corp side. Unscheduled Maintenance make a pain in the corps arse to simply lose an ICE, so Rook becomes a nuisance for them. Will they unistall their ICE with Rook there or loose credits? Do not hesitate to run, dont wait your whole rig. Supplier make it cheap to build it at the long game, Overmind guarantees the AS but without plascrete, its wise to play it safe with tags. Unrezz expensive ICEs and make them back to the corps hands with Leela.

Looking for feedback.

Nice - no reviews for Leela yet on this site, but i'm very into this ID. I quite like the idea of playing False Echo with it too.

A nice idea but ... I dont like Rook in Leela though. Since your bouncing ice back, you're losing the rooks. Also Overmind is not great as the only ice breaker.Blue Sun: Powering the Future will be a massive issue for this deck

You're only bouncing Ice back that remains unrezzed. If the corp is managing to rez all of its Ice, unfortunately you aren't doing it right. I think this deck might benefit to substitute Dirty Laundry for Sure Gamble. The more you run, the more opportunities they get to rez their cards.

Another thing you might want to take another look at: without something like Decoy or New Angeles City Hall to prevent tags, when Account Siphon lands you will immediately lose all installed Zona Sul Shipping. Inside Job or Feint may be a good replacement for Account Siphon if you want to keep Zona Sul, or Kati Jones would be a good replacement for Zona Sul.

Well you unrez it with Crescentus. Rook provides great early game pressure, but what good are they if you're bouncing back the ice its on. And you won't be bringing them back with Clone Chip since that would be saved for the Overminds. Its essentially 4 influence soaked into something that is incredibly short term

Thx for all the tips. Zona Sul and Dirty Laundry are probably going out. I'm thinking about rook still. It makes rezzing ICE expensive enough in late game so if the corp have multiple ICE on a server, it will make at least one of them unrezzed, something that you really want. Still, we may have better options for that.
