Watching Them Die - Swiss Regionals 2015 - 2nd Place (6-2)

This deck is nothing new under the red Jinteki sun. It was purely a meta call. And it turned out to be a good one: with 6 victories and only 2 defeats this deck did its part on securing me the second place.

Sure, there are many cards that counter PE, but most of them don't get played when everyone wants to be a Whizzard with new eyes. Even PPKate doesn't run Deux Ex that often any more (which is a mistake in my opinion, not only because of PE).

So many runners died during that regional. And I paid for it and watched. :-)

A few comments about the deck:

• The choice of ice was made with Net Ready Eyes in mind. Quicksand and Komainu always got killed. There will be some changes here. Himitsu-Bako does look appealing. Lotus Field too. I'm not sure about Cortex Lock. In averaged it did 1 net damage. It's nice because it's out of Mimic range. But against PE, most runners install there rig before running anyway...
• Sweeps Week was great. Some players chose to finish there turns with only 4 cards in hand because of it. Less effective once the runner has some brain damage. But then I don't really need it anyway ;-)
• Psychic Field is in there because I expected Valencia to run some expose.
• All games were very intense. Except the final against Reina with Eater, Keyhole, Parasites, Account Siphons and endless recursion with SOT, Déjà Vue and Clone Chips. No way I could have won that without a major mistake by my opponent.
• Best moment of the day was the match against Silhouette during the cut. He runs on HQ, reveals a Psychic Field, loses all his hand and then has to access one of two cards in HQ. And he accesses the Agenda. The whole room screamed and laughed. :-)

I'm thinking about a version with Scorched Earth and False Lead now. What do you think?
