HBFA v9 - (Quality Time 13/07/2015 1st Place)

J-Flex 211

The name is a bit of a running joke but also a nod to the legacy of the deck when it was pure wondrous FA with SanSan City Grids, Biotic Labours and DBS. Clot came along and the deck was due a change. I've tried a few things, Brain-Taping Warehouses, not giving up the Snares etc but have arrived at this deck that now splashes a lot of influence for 2x Caprice - I hear it's a good card. I was running Tollbooth which is still a great piece of ice, but a thought to swap in Archer and bring in the helpful Domestic Sleepers to act as food and so we have version 9.

The Domestic Sleepers are a big indicator that there may be Archers around but in this Mimic-heavy meta we live in (myself guilty of this) I was able to catch out some runners and put a big dent in their rig. Other notable card is Breaker Bay Grid which proved to be absolutely insane, and was probably the quiet, hard working MVP of the night. Strangely my opponents never wanted to go in and trash it in the remote so I was happy to drop Adonises and Eves (a card I always want to play but never find myself in a good economic position to want to do so) and make bank like it was going out of style. It meant I could put down the expensive Heimdalls etc and rez at will. Many games I was comfortably 30+ credits, siphon who?

Some improvements? If you are happy to play more aggressively, the Sleepers could be binned for other cards and feed non-zero point agendas to the Archers which could catch a runner more unawares - that being said, I used Sleepers twice to score the 7th point. The 1x Mandatory Upgrades is there to make up the agenda count so this could be swapped for something else. This deck made a lot of money so perhaps slotting in Ash to lock down a scoring remote would do pretty good I think.
