EkoBiter - Doing ALL the drugs

Shamgi 3

Fun little deck that takes advantage of all the self destructive parts of the Anarch for fun as profit.

Basically, the goal of this deck is to get Kati and some Liberated Accounts out, then find Bagbiter. Using all the econ from Kati and Liberated will get you a pretty massive hand size, which you then use Duggars to fill up. Once you hit that, your regular econ will get you even higher, until you basically end up with all your deck in your hand. At that point you mass install two Overminds and your medium, then install all three Stim Dealers.

Next turn, you lead with Three Steps Ahead, follow with three Amped Up, and then you just hammer R&D as hard as possible with your 12 click turn. If that doesn't succeed, you can likely depend on a purge next turn to hopefully try again, though quite honestly at that point you're likely dead. No one said drugs were good for you.

Most of the rest of the deck is built to make it all work. Ice Carver helps Overmind out a little, Mimic and Passport deal with anti AI ICE that your opponent might be hiding. Parasite kills that icky Komainu, while Deux X saves you from it if you happen to facecheck it with 30 cards in your hand.

Neat idea, I very much like it. Have you considered E3 Feedback implant? It works with Quetzal's ability and and Overmind.

If you worry about Komainu use Hunting Grounds instead of Deus Ex. It's the same influence and it deals with a lot of nasty ICE.

What about Showing off? If your big turns is happening maybe you can benefit from digging R&D from below.

Dr - E3 certainly work well, but I think they're more conductive to sustained runs. This wild turn of burning through usually means that the Overminds have the counters they need to burn. Realistically, it should be in instead of Three Steps Ahead, but if you can live the dream, why not do it?

Hunting Grounds is a good idea, and I may split 1:1, but Deus also protects against surprise Psychic Field. Not intensely important, I guess, given the nature of the deck.

Showing Off absolutely needs to be in the deck, and I can't believe I missed it.

Rubbish - I actually don't think Faust is conductive to the deck plan. When you consider that the deck attempts to run 12 times in a row, and that you'd likely be using 3-4 cards a run, you're talking about more than your entire hand in cards to break with Faust for those 12 runs. This way, you can make sure of all the credits you build up, and you can ignore damaging ambushes or some nasty kill ICE.
