Committee Rush

I won a small Store Champs in Lafayette, IN on March 5, 2016 with this NEXT Design deck. It's a pure rush deck: play ICE, score agendas, fire off ABTs, and fast advance the last few points. ABT burned me multiple times throughout the course of the tournament, but I still think I'd make those same plays ... it's a high variance deck. You do your thing and force the runner to stop you.

The ICE suite could probably use some tweaking. I was never really happy with it. HB's best ICE costs influence now (Eli and Architect), so any choices I made just felt sub-optimal.

I wanted to play something fast and aggressive, and this deck fit the bill. But, like I already mentioned ... it can be very inconsistent and will sometimes leave you frustrated.

My tip for you in regards to ICE: Chimera. For serious. It is the ultimate gearcheck ICE. I've scored out behind just a Chimera multiple times, because you force the runner to have their WHOLE breaker suite out, something even Shapers have trouble with. You already have anti-Faust tech with Wraparounds and Turing, Chimera is everything-else-tech.

@pang4 The original list did have Chimera ... and maybe I'm still too accustomed to the pre-MWL mindset of "they'll just Parasite it." Sure, Parasite still exists, but like you insinuate, Shapers rarely run it anymore. It's not everywhere.

Also, the thought of hitting it with an ABT bummed me out. I'll toss it back in and try it again. Thanks for the suggestion.
