MAWSOME

Murphy 1410

SIFR IS ACTUALLY MAW.

I can't figure out how to include Maw in this list on NRDB right now. I'll edit this post when I am able to.

That being said, Sifr would probably make this list better.

I brought this to our last store championship in the SF bay area. I really liked Maw in theory so I wanted to test it out.

Omar Keung: Conspiracy Theorist was chosen because I wanted to trigger Maw as much as possible. Whizzard: Master Gamer is anti-synergistic at times. Reina Roja: Freedom Fighter Rebirthing into Omar Keung: Conspiracy Theorist is also worth trying but I really wanted as many accesses as possible so Omar Keung: Conspiracy Theorist felt right.

Maw is a really cool card. Best play of the day was single accessing HQ with Omar Keung: Conspiracy Theorist, seeing a Stinson when I have 2 credits (with 3 transactions in Archives), triggering Maw and trashing the Stinson. There is potential for all sorts of fun. And I suspect Maw just destroys Railgun.

I only got 5 games in with this list so far. I liked it a lot so I am going to keep experimenting. I won 3 out of 4 games during Swiss rounds with it which was enough for 2nd. Unfortunately, I Scrubber'd out of the cut. It wasn't Omar Keung: Conspiracy Theorist's fault. That was on me.

P.S. For bonus role playing points, when you reveal Omar Keung: Conspiracy Theorist, ask your opponent "Are you or have you ever been a member of the Illuminati?". They will be real confused.

Try clearing your cookies. that usually works if the new cards dont show up yet @Murphy

@Murphy: If you're using Chrome, clearing cookies won't cut it.

  • Open your settings
  • Scroll to the bottom and click "show advanced settings"
  • Under the 'Privacy' heading, click 'Content settings'
  • Under the 'Cookies' heading, click 'All cookies and site data...'
  • In the search box, type netrunnerdb. You should see something like '2 cookies, Database storage.'
  • Mouse over it and you should see an X sppear. Click it. Click Done. Click Done again. Close settings.
  • Refresh NRDB.

What's happening is that NRDB is storing the card data locally, but it seems to be unable to clear it out even when the data on NRDB is newer. Clearing cookies alone won't delete the local storage database - you need to take some steps to nuke it.

(I've noticed NRDB now displays the 'Your data is outdated, click here to force refresh' message that a lot of the other *DB sites have, but it still doesn't work.)

Hey I lost to this deck (among others...) Do you know if they're posting the final results anywhere?

@hutch9514 @stoppableforce Thanks for the tips. I'll try it out when's I get home.

@TyrellCorp I'll post the full results to Always Be Running sometime this week and make sure to Tweet it out to @WeArMakingNews. We also recorded games. Some of those will be commentated eventually :D
