Central Eater

Diogene 3864

Work in progress.

Game plan.

  1. (vs HQ) Deck the corp with Fear of Masses and Bhagat.
  2. (vs R&D) Take away the win of the corp by trashing most agendas with the above and Stargate.
  3. (vs Remotes) Stop the corp from scoring with Because I Can.
  4. Get those agendas from Archives with EMP Device and Inside Job.

Creds comes from : Day Job, Liberated Account, Rezeki, Armitage Codebusting (11 of 45). Side creds from Keiko + Paladin Poemu + Trickster Taka (6 of 45).

Only Eater is used as a breaker.

Tech.

  1. I've Had Worse for draw and protection from damage.
  2. Hippo to lower the cost of running centrals.
  3. Political Operative to deal with Crisium Grid.
  4. Quetzal allow you to run some ice for super cheap.

Problems.

  1. Slow creds. There is no burst here. The reason for it was because of lack of slots. I wanted more creds available. Day Job, Armitage and Liberated are good for creds, but will cost a lot of click, basically costing you one full turn each, at least.
  2. Fear the Masses takes up a lot of slots. It makes the deck function, but you need to get them in hand to make them work. Usually, you'll have at most 3 in hand.

Other possibilities : 3x Data Folding and 1x Memstrip and 2x Daredevil. Probably 3 Career Fair would be needed. Keiko + Paladin + Trickster could be taken out. But those things are expensives!

The main weakness of this deck is Crisium Grid. If the corp put it on HQ before you get Political Operative on the board, you lose. Since the runs on HQ need to be successful to do anything, nothing can be done once Crisium is on HQ.

I had some wins (50%). But it feel a bit unbalanced. Tell me what you think.
