Deck valid after Seventh Rotation |
This is a list I made in collaboration (he made a list, I ruined it with last minute changes) with Choux from Atlanta. I met him in async league and were impressed that engine building Ari could function.
Deck is a bit clunky and also hard to play, which poised bit of a challenge having 4 hours of sleep and 4 practice games before. Also this deck isn't that great in AuCo and Ob, which is whole seperate issue.
My Corp side writeup of the tournament available here.
R2 vs Issuaq, loss, despite setting up my whole engine, I wasted my one and only pinhole on thrashing Charlotte, hoping to keep corp broke, which backfired, when it bounced back and set up Anoetic Void remote and scored 3 points with a counter, I tried to go for a desperate Conduit dig, but with the low agenda density, it were a futile effort, then Issuaq just double seemlessed last 3 points.
R4 vs A Teia, win, found an only opponent in tournament which were as tired as me, with some lucky accesses from R&D and busting remotes with my trojans, I picked his agendas for 7 points.
R6 vs Issuaq, win, this time I used my pinhole correctly, opening up remote and with slap vandal poison vial combo cheating their big ICE, stopping agenda pushes. Was also helped by corp flooding and not drawing enough econ.
R1 loss against Ob, game started great, despite open decklists, Ob player rezzed Envelopment, which instantly got hushed and I thrashed his humanoid resources. Game wen't fine after that, if we ignore azef thrashing my pinhole, but then I miscounted how many points opponet has, falsely believing it's my last turn I wasted my clicks with desperate attempts to get singles on HQ and R&D, which opened up scoring window for the last score.
Finals vs Nuvem win, corp started very slow, which let me set up full engine and for the most part being in controll of the game, after starting to run out of resources, I aggressively attacked centrals, winning me the game against the undefeated list.
Conclusion. Solid B tier deck, but not that well situated in the meta, if you enjoy engine building games, but only play Netrunner you could do worse.

Thank you, Ari isn’t in the greatest spot right now and were carried by corp, but it’s only runner which doesn’t feel boring. |
Congrats! It's awesome to see an Ari player / deck do reasonably well post-rotation.
