Cerberus 1.0

Events:

Diesel: Pretty self-explanatory. Condense 3 clicks into 1. Always worth it.

Levy AR Lab Access: Just in case, really.

Modded: Sometimes, I'm gonna draw into Magnum. Modded + Magnum = immediate value.

Retrieval Run: By far an underrated event. It combines a test run + scavenge or just a scavenge without the cost of trashing a program, for the same amount of creds and 1 less click, just have to run on archives (which, against Shaper is almost always open).

Scavenge: Dog deck needs recursion.

Stimhack: I've always had a lot of situations where I'm thinking 'If only I had splashed 1 stimhack' when running, and now I'm going to splash one because it could be the difference between a won game and a lost game.

Sure Gamble: Burst Econ

Test Run: Recursion/search for early runs if I don't draw into breakers.

Tinkering: Underrated card overall in my opinion. How many times have you thought. "Damn, I really wish I just had a damn barrier breaker right now." Tinker is really efficient and I think will be perfect in a deck where my breakers might not always be out.

HARDWARE:

Astrolabe: Cheap, draw engine, and gives 1 mem. I'm completely sold on this.

Clone Chip: Recursion.

Feedback Filter: Personal Evolution is prevalent in my meta.

HQ Interface: Multi-access.

Plascrete Carapace: Blue Sun scares me...

R&D Interface: Multi Access.

RESOURCES:

Ice Analyzer: Free install, gets credits used to recur programs for cheaper. No downside in this deck.

PROGRAMS:

Cerberus "Cuj.0" H3: DOG.

Cerberus "Rex" H2: DOG.

Cerberus "Lady" H1: DOG.

Femme Fatale: Bypass too good. (Except against blue sun...)

Magnum Opus: Long-term economy.

Self-modifying Code: Not the biggest fan of SMC, but it lets me tutor magnum if needed, or any of the breakers quickly. Hopefully the inclusion of Ice Analyzer makes the 2credit cost the only cost for getting breakers.

Nice deck overall. Good to see a not-troll ( lol, this will change soon) dog deck ... the only problems I have with the cards are the MANY one sub-routine ice .... and there are quite a lot of them. Just feels a bit like a waste to use counters for 1 subroutine :\

I would expect to see Aesops in this deck to cash out the dogs once the counters are gone before you reinstall them from the trash?

DOG DECK?

@Dydra I was thinking about adding an INTI and a ZU for just that reason, just in case they're running quandries or something, Once I playtest this enough, I'll figure out if I need to add those or not.

@DataFran I think eventually Aesop's will come in place of Ice Analyzer, I just really wanted to find a use for Ice Analyzer so I figured a deck where I'm going to be recurring programs, it'd be nice to have some cash for re-installing those with clone chips/grabbing them with SMC's. Most likely though, Aesops will take that place once it's playtested.

@x3r0h0ur DOG DECK.
