Healing wounds

Here we want to score two 5/3 agendas while slowing the runner. For that purpose, we make his or her head hurt either through net damages or through painful mind games.

The Future Perfect is quite self explanatory, Labyrinthine Servers is here to force the runner to run to his or her doom. It works well with Midori that will be able to switch ices to maximize damages.

Damages will be given with Snare!, Komainu, Shiro and Tsurugi. Shi.Kyū will either be a source of damages if we are poor or will force the runner to steal more agendas to win.

Because it won't help the runner very much to steal it, we can use Chairman Hiro to make him lose some tempo (and force him to run on a huge taxing server). Sundew and Melange Mining Corp. follow the same idea : force the runner to pass these dangerous ice.

Plece notice the combo Universal Connectivity Fee after stepping on Kitsune and getting a Snare!

Having run a similar deck before, my thoughts:

  1. Shi.Kyu is awesome in this deck, Chairman Hiro can be awesome in this deck. But together they are a little iffy. I know you can just ditch the Chairman Hiro into archives if they hit a Shi.Kyu, but if they for some reason steal him then your Shi.Kyu's are worthless. I personally ended up running only Shi.Kyu with more success.

  2. With the ice you're running I think you need more economy. As it stands, unless you get a Melange up and running for a few turns it seems like you might be kinda poor with several high rez-cost ice.

  3. I would personally prefer a bit more ETR ice. A fair amount of your ice is positional (Inazuma, Kitsune, UCF) or is only useful for certain situations (Shinobi for the kill or Ichi for program trashing).

  4. Final bit of personal preference, definitely don't have to follow this advice, I had a lot of success with Mushin No Shin and Chimera. If you manage to find mushin, an agenda, and Chimera in the first couple of turns that's an easy 3 points. After that they have to run any card you Mushin, which could mean running headfirst into a Shi.Kyu, Snare, or Junebug.

Like the deck overall! Just my two cents.

Hi! Thanks for your advice. I tried this deck a bit yesterday and I agree with your three first points.

  1. Chairman Hiro is fun to use but he is not very usefull. Replacing him by Caprice Nisei was advised tome, I'l give it a try.

  2. I agree there too, when test playing I had enough money but I guess I was lucky. Maybe more Himitsu-Bako and drop that Shiro and one less Ichi 1.0

  3. Agree too, I'll look into it :)

  4. Looks nice! I won't go that way with this deck but I see how powerfull it can be.
