Key Cards

Self-modifying Code fetches the Djiin first. After that, additional copies are free to fetch icebreakers mid-run.

Djinn tutors for Parasites, Caches, and Imps. He provides much-needed memory for viruses and Self-modifying Code.

Levy AR Lab Access recurs the whole deck up to two times. Together with Clone Chip, you won't have to worry about running out of viruses.

Aesop's Pawnshop buys used Caches.

Cache tokens weather an ICE rez, though you'll find they won't last long. Djiin/Cache/Aesop's gives econ of comparable efficiency to Magnum Opus. With Personal Workshop it gets even better.

Parasite kills ice on the fly. An earlier version of this deck had two Parasites. This was demoralizing to my opponents, but on reflection the influence is needed for...

Atman It's usually better to destroy ice mid-run with a Parasite than to jiffy up an Atman. Just one Parasite means that Atman might finally get something to do.

Deus X & Sharpshooter These are tutorable for those times when they rez an Archer and you don't happen to have a six Datasucker counters.

Pheromones Tough call between this or Nerve Agent for the job of applying pressure to HQ. I'm currently leaning Pheromones because of the Personal Workshop synergy. Additionally, they help with trashing accessed cards. However, they are very slow:

pheromones -> successful HQ runs -> turn break -> profit!!

Plascrete Carapace - because there's no money for avoiding traces, but tons of econ for buying plastic crap.

Dirty Laundry used to be a Stimhack, but it got downgraded for influence savings. It can still squirt out a Personal Workshopped R&D interface on a successful run, and it can be a good way to temporarily store a few bits when you suspect you're running against a low-cost ICE.

Armitage Codebusting really isn't bad in conjunction with Aesop's, and some turns you just need to cut through the clutter and get a small pile of bits.


Sure Gamble didn't make the cut for this deck, because it's overhead is so high.
