Lean Mean Green Machine

This is an edit of a Professor deck I posted a few days back. I decided to take a slightly different route to Corp annoyance this time. The M.O. is for Keyhole and Hemorrhage to do some work. When combined with Sneakdoor Beta and Hades Shard (thinking about subbing a Scrubber in for Hades if the Shard doesn't pan out) towards the end, it should make for quite an explosion of corporation frustration!

We've got the standard non-breaker suite for the most part, including Parasite, Sucker, Opus and SMC...along with Djinn for some memory conservation and supplemental tutoring. As for breakers, I decided to go with a new flavor of efficiency and punishment.

Having Kati Jones out will hopefully boost my ability to make scoring runs mid-game, and provided I don't get Chronos Project to the face, LARLA will do some work as well. I've got Plascrete for Weyland defense, Deus against Jinteki and Astrolabe for those NBN FA/Jinteki shell matchups.

I know I know...ProCon and MOpus don't mix. Well guess what? They kinda do. If they're both out, then you've got options. No need to ask me what they are...it's pretty self-explanatory. :) Basically, if you don't get ProCon in the opening hand and you do have a tutoring card, pull out the MOpus and go to town. If you get ProCon, great, go to town! Either way, this Lean Mean Green Machine is happy!

Have you thought about putting Code Siphon in the deck? more program search seems like it could really be useful to the proff i feel it could be really useful with Eater too, obviously these aren't out yet so it's understandable that it's not in this version of your deck am just wondering on your thoughts as i've run the proff a few times my self.

A Siphon or 2 would be great, yup...just not sure what I'd take out for it to go in. I'd so replace Atman with Eater though, good call there, Pink. :)

@esutter479 Oh i just noticed your running Sharpshooter and Faerie i find that odd i basically see Faerie as a better Sharpshooter my self.

Theirs things id change my self but I like the deck, i feel my changes would be based mostly on preference things like nerve agent over hemorrhage as i really don't like hemorrhage my self.

Yup, Faerie and Sharpshooter are in there so if I don't draw one, I might draw the other. :) You can never be too safe sometimes. If I find that I don't need it, it will come out, possibly in favor of an Eater or an Imp...something Anarch for sure.

As for Hemorrhage, I've never really used it before so I'm giving it a shot. It may be best suited for pure Anarch evilness, but should it be a flop here, I can always sub in Nerve Agent. :) If I do that, the Hades Shard may bow out as well. We'll see.

Is Djinn worth it for three viruses? (As an aside: Sneakdoor + Nerve Agent is so good that I'd recommend the second.)

Sharpshooter and Faerie do combo nicely, I find.

It's not just the viruses that are present, but drawing Djinn early makes it easy to work stuff like MOpus or Sneakdoor out onto the rig without jeopardizing MU for breakers later.

Swap the Djinn for a Leprachaun, then? You've got six 2MU programs, and Leprachaun's more flexible. Great for SMCs.

@JAK Why would you drop Djinn which can let you search for the few virus in the deck for Leprechaun which doesn't it seems like your pointlessly downgrading, I personally run both for the extra MU but then i also run Freelance Coding Contract so they double up as throwaway cards as well.

@Pinkwarrior, we've been over this before. Leprechaun can give more MU than Djinn can, (if it holds two 2MU programs), and if you're going to use a SMC at any point, provides essentially the same MU ... except without the "No icebreakers" condition. That condition's a real downside, meaning that you have to wait to install your utility programs until after your mem boosting program, because breakers don't fit.

Djinn's search is slow, clunky and of marginal utility. Leprechaun's better at giving MU, and I'd actually regard that change as a meaningful upgrade. Better in almost every way.

@JAK I can't say i fully disagree with that however i believe Djinn is better especially in here sure you can hold breakers on it but i would avoid that for obvious reasons and in here doing so would only host a 1MU program. your right though Leprechaun CAN give 1 more MU that alone is why i run it in tandem with djinn but id take djinn over leprechaun every time.

I feel your under estimating the use of search especially in a deck with 1 off programs every bit of search helps sure theirs not alot to go looking for only Parasite Datasucker Hemorrhage but of those 2 of them imo are invaluable tools to have.
