Hayley's Freelance ProgramStorm Toolbox (First draft)

JAK 375

No-one's published a Hayley deck yet, so here's what I went to as soon as I saw her. Based on my prof deck which is derived ultimately from Big Girls Play With Monoliths.

Hayley wants as much of your deck to have the same type (Program/Hardware/Resource) as possible. Playing lots of programs (the best of these types :P) synergises well with Freelance Coding Contract.

The basic idea is to use the powerful, powerful economic engines of FCC and Sahasrara to install a lot of programs as I run through the deck. Hayley can install a lot of programs, so should be able to get maximal use from Sahasrara. (Cloak, for instance, can turn Sahasrara creds into icebreaking credits.) This is very close to the most you can dedicate a deck to

There are seven ways to install a program without using a click (Clone Chips, SMCs, and Savoir-Faire). Being able to install two programs mid-run is hugely powerful. (Suggested programs: Medium, Nerve Agent, Chakana.) As is being able to install programs at the end of the Corp's turn. (Ideally, Sneakdoor Beta and Nerve Agent. Do this.)

I would like to test Game Day, and potentially Earthrise Hotel, but am not comfortable messing with the shell too much.

Hayley's able to splash a lot less than the Professor is: the influence used is a first draft. I know I want Medium, Nerve Agent and Sneakdoor -- they're just to great to surprise install using Hayley's ability. Faerie's a great card to have in this sort of toolbox deck, as it makes face-checking ICE with just a SMC a lot more safe. Savoir-Faire and Femme could change -- Parasite is begging to come in, as is Clot. Chakana and Paricia could easily be replaced. (I'd like a third copy of Cloak and I could probably cut one program for a Plascrete but the idea here is to suggest a rough draft).

Leprechauns over Mem Chips have issues with sequencing, but make FCC so much better. (Pro-tip: don't start an overdrawing turn until you have a FCC in your hand, or you know there's very good odds of hitting one in your stack). Toolbox could be replaced by Comet, but the 2 MU is a big advantage. Box-E could be worthwhile, with influence spent differently.

One of Aesop's to turn cheaply installed programs (and thus, Sahasrara credits) into real money.

Install ALL of the programs! (Ideally, mid-run.)

Would Oracle May work in this deck?

@Toomin It could. I'm less than keen, because I don't want to spend the influence, and clicking Oracle May's not really quite as efficient as FCC & draw, and I don't want to discard my draw events. Or Levys. Or Clone Chips. That would be the worst. Try building a deck with much fewer events -- potentially zero, if you want to try that.
