Death by a thousand net damage.

Pretty much you score agendas and do as much net damage as possible. Sundew will keep you afloat without much problems. Almost all agendas worth 1 point so it will be easy for you to open an Archer. Archer, Ichi, wall of thorns and Wotan are there to keep him busy enough for you to advance slowly to 7 agenda points. False lead is there mostly in the off chance that the runner will access a snare or fetal with 3 or 4 cards and you have 1 or 2 Neural EMP to your hand. Just trash False lead and fry him.

Funky!

I'm guessing the idea is for your agenda net damage to take away critical pieces of their rig and slow them down enough for you to score? I'm really fearing that if they play a net shield it will auto-win them the game.

A net shield will certainly make this deck less effective. However, it'll still cost them money and how many people are running that card anyway? It's kind of a dead draw when facing one of the three other corps.

Sure, but every Shaper would be stupid not to pack it - one cardslot is a small price to pay for a tutorable auto-win for certain matchups :P

(also, people do splash snares and junebugs on occasion, so if you have the memory, why not)

I was thinking that there are not a lot of good net damage defence cards. Net shield is nice against this but useless in general. Deus X is a far greater defence against Neural Katanas, snares and chums that most of the other factions splash in their decks and while a lot of Shapers do include it, the slow trickle of damage is still very annoying at the very least. As always my true bane (as for most Jinteki) is the Anarch breaker suit and this is why I included some expensive barrier ice.

I'm still in beta test but my initial results are satisfying. I'll post any changes I make to the deck.

For annoying ICE against fixed STR breakers to , I think 2x Tollbooth might be better than 1x Wotan.

This is a takeoff of the Jamesteki deck put out by bad publicity. While I find the deck remarkably easy to beat (I also run no net damage defense...), he's right, no one runs net shield. Everyone who even considers net damage a threat runs deus ex, which only prevents damage from one source. Its a 3 credit tax if they feel like they need to keep reinstalling it.

The real jamesteki deck though, runs like 6 or 9 ice, being NK and Janus, which, again, I've had no problems beating. This deck seems like its quite a bit better, given archer to protect. One thing to consider is that after you get going, your economy is crucial, and running is just a tax on their cards in a lot of cases, so profiteering makes a great card, just take all 15 and then have plenty of cash to rez your wotan's etc. Profiteering makes jinteki nuts when used with hedge fund and optionally celeb gift.

Yeah, I agree. Profiteering seems a better match in this deck than Gila.

I used to run profiteering when I was running cheaper ice and it didn't work all that well. Now that I've included more beastly (expensive) ice it might be preferable.

The inspiration for the deck came from the dude with the big beard from Team Covenant. He convinced me that running 15 agendas in this identity is not a bad idea. Also, I really don't agree with less than 15 ice on a deck. I get that you don't want to "stop" a runner from getting to a card, but you have give him some hard time. If he has to pay upwards of 10 credits just to score 1 agenta point or to eat a snare in his face is not fun.
