Industrial Guacamole 0.5

It didn't quite work out with Director Haas and the guacamole factory was forced to relocate to San San city.

I realized that playing the executive was actually working against the IG ability's increase in trash costs, since you never want Haas to be trashed. In comparison, San sans will need to be trashed repeatedly, getting you more value from the identity ability.

I really like the Punitive Counterstrikes that you're running. However, wouldn't a Power Shutdown or two really help this deck out?

I'm not sure I know of a Corp deck that Power Shutdown WOULDN'T help out, tbh...but if those went in, the SanSan City Grids would have to come out. Hey, always worth testing, one way or the other. :)

The only tradeoff I would think of in here would be Punitive Counterstrike vs Emergency Shutdown. After all you aren't running 3 pointers and you might not neccessarily be ahead economically as often as you would like to. If they see the Punitive Counterstrike - and hey, aren't you running Celebrity Gift - a single Plascrete Carapace may shut down the whole Counterstrike idea.

I will simply say that in a deck, where u run 2 pointers and your only source of damage (direct) is Punitive .... that doesn't work ... imagine they hit snare .... so what? They stop, draw back .... they steal a 2pointers? u pay 3 to hit them for 2.... u spend 2 influence for something that is more situational to use than neural emp ...

If u want to play Punitives, play Either Fetals or 3 pointers. Which yes, makes your San-San rather irrelivant.

@Milhaus2000, @esutter479 Power Shutdown sounds like a great idea, perhaps if you somehow use ToL as your FA engine you could include them. This deck draws a lot so getting cards into archives isn't usually a problem.

@romanoSoprano Yes staying ahead economically is the challenge, it remains to be seen whether this deck can do that consistently as I haven't played enough games with it. I've noticed that with the Celebrity Gifts, because of the overdrawing this deck does, I've never had to reveal the Punitive Counterstrike unless the cat was already out of the bag.

@Dydra The 2 pointers seem essential to the deck concept, worth trying out at least IMHO. Since this deck stacks two pointers into archives, it's not hard to set up kill shots with 6 points in archives or if they have scored an agenda already 4 agenda points.

I love the inclusion of SanSans in IG, especially with Interns to bring them back over and over again. How often are you actually able to rez ICE like Wall of Thorns or Susanoo when SanSan and PCS are such expensive paths to victory?

SanSan seems like more than enough reason to visit Archives - is Susanoo necessary?

I found I needed some big ice or else I would get trampled, I don't know what the right mix is yet. You can rez the big her ice, but it does impact your ability to threaten for sure.

Susan is maybe not necessary, but who is willing to tell her she's not on the team any more?
