Replicating Sickness 2.4

I finished first in a small 18 person tournament this week with this deck. It's a twist on the popular RP archetype. The agenda spread is standard. The main trick is catching the runner with an unexpected flatline. I've found that most people assume RP isn't running net damage outside of punishing ICE, so when the dig RND and find Snares waiting for them, they might not have enough cards in grip to survive. What really helps with that win condition is the inclusion of Kitsune, which almost always fires to hit them with a Snare. If they are running AI breakers, I'll hope to see Swordsman to kill it, but usually AI means they aren't getting past my other ICE scot-free. Everything else is basically standard, esp Econ. No Medical Health Clinics means you might have to click for credits more often, but the concede in tempo might mean the Runner feels more confident to dig RND, which could lead to flatlines. The Hostile Infrastructure is rarely rezzed, usually trash bait. But if I have some naked Sundews online, and I'm in the money, I'll rez it to punish. Will o the Wisp usually aims for the Runner's decoder, as those are the strongest ICE in the deck. Lotus Field being the best, as it withstands Parasite which usually nerfs this deck. In the tournament, I faced a Chaos Theory which had trouble keeping up with the barrier ICE with Lady, an Andromeda I got the jump on early, and a Reina that Bishop-ed some Lotus Fields unknowingly but came close to winning on a few TFP accesses. Overall, I've enjoyed the success I've had with this deck, but the nature of RP has me a little exhausted with it. I know Runners hate facing it, and once you have a scored Nisei and ELP installed, the game is basically over already. Not the most fun experience. Will probably shift gears for my next tournament.

I know someone playing a Kill RP, who is quite happy with his win rate. He also plays a few Fetal AI, which took me completely by surprise the first time I played against him. You could easily swap out a Future Perfect for a Fetal for more damage :D

I tried swapping the NAPDs with Fetals, but that wasn't consistent enough over making the runner pay 4 to steal every time. I hadn't considered swapping 1 Future Perfect for 1 Fetal. That might be a killer swap :)
