Money for Dope v1.1

cbob 20

After playtesting and refining, I've made the following changes:

Icebreaker suite

Two Atmans (Atmen?) and two datasuckers are enough, and femme gets us through stuff we'd struggle with otherwise. Lady is more to install than inti, but lets us break things like Eli 1.0 when our atmans (atsman?) are in the wrong place efficiently. Parasite also lets us get in places that we might not be able to and, you know, is parasite.

Economy

Scheherazade is great to get out, but is awkward; I never really want to spend a SMC fetching it, although you get your 2 back pretty fast so it's probably a good option. With that said, SMC is on my chopping block for not pulling its weight enough as well, so if I cut one of them (and I can't imagine cutting more), it's likely to go with it.

Other stuff

I never really used the extra memory from the mem chip; I'll usually hit five at the moment, but Astrolabe is enough for that. Plascrete is hedging against the rise of Blue Sun, although the one game I've played against them so far I died to faceplanting into a Janus, so I don't think that's a fair shake. The RDIs, similarly, haven't pulled their weight yet. I've gained three or four access from them that I wouldn't've had over the games I've played; certainly less than the accesses from maker's eyes (makers' eye?) which, because of same olds and levy, I actually get firing quite a lot. These are probably first against the wall.

Other notes: I've noticed there's, fairly unsurprisingly, a stumbling block at the point where I use Levy AR Lab Access, as that's the point where I no longer have a heap to fuel my econ. I feel like squeezing in Professional Contacts would actually be quite useful to smooth over that point in the game, as well as being generally good. I find myself clicking for cards a lot anyway to get to injects, scavenges and so on, and usually I can find a point I can burst up 5 credits to afford it.

I just posted mine that I tested for a few weeks and tweaked. Check it out. Looks like we're roughly on the same page.

I thought I'd post to spark some conversations and maybe answer some questions.
