Silhouette has an appetite, and she wastes no time in getting her meal!

For opening face-check runs, we have Faerie, Deus , Corroder and Passport. For mid-late game remote access, Femme and Gordian.

Econ: Armitage Codebusting may run you some clicks, but if you chain these along nicely, the Corp will think you possess an Opus. Gotta have a Kati on the board in case the Corp decides to make your runs a little taxing. Easy Marks are there to pick you back up and get you close to Gambling range if the Corp manages to bleed you dry.

Multi-access: Legwork for when you're not worried about Shocks, Shi-kyus, Snares or Babies hitting you. Maker's Eyes for R&D pressure...timing is key!

Defense: Plascretes for obvious reasons; Deus if you encounter Flytraps, Fetals, Fields, or Komainus/Tsurugis/Shinobis (god forbid you don't have a Faerie out); Infiltrations for potentially FINDING those EOWs, Snares, Junebugs or anything else that could cost you the game, no matter when it may be.

Let's not forget the Same Old Things, tailor made for you to call on depending on opponent ID, game situation, etc. Be flexible...but be smart!

Why Eater? Look at Sil's ability. There is NO card in the game right now that interacts with the auto-expose more reliably or consistently than this one. It is a must-have, IMO, for any Sil deck. Hell, I pulled my Levy out for this!! After you eat through ICE to get your expose, surprise them with Emergency Shutdown to tax/annoy them even more.

The essential vitamins are all here...and it's all part of a healthy, balanced Criminal breakfast! Tell me what ya think!

I really like this and will use it to evolve my beloved, but woefully unplayed Silhouette deck. I think she's primed for success with Jinteki's resurgence. Screw the corp's shell game!

A couple of questions/thoughts:
1. Have you tried Doppleganger in this deck? I know Desperado is amazing, but I have love for Dopple and think it plays well in this context.
2. Have you tried Earthrise Hotel instead of Mr. Li? I don't love relocating cards in this deck.
3. Deus feels like a meta-driven choice. Have you found it to be needed? I'm not sure what I'd replace it with for 1 influence, but I also don't love taking up a card slot for it.

Thanks for the inspiration!

@IctSpiceMerchant - Thank you for the encouraging words! :) I've tried a few Sil incarnations, and I feel I finally have something solid enough to not only compete in store championships...but win, as well.

  1. I've never even considered Doppelgänger for some reason. I'm not adverse to giving it a fair shot though, especially here, where I plan to be running a lot. Would you recommend I use 2 of it, just as I have 2 Desperados right now?

  2. I have been using Earthrise Hotel in my Quetzal deck, as I'm waiting for I've Had Worse to come to my doorstep, heh. I'm not sure I like it over Mr. Li, however, as it's not only more costly, but also goes away fairly quickly. Also not sure what I'd take out to add in a 3rd Hotel either. Emergency Shutdown is far too invaluable here, even as a 1 of, IMO. Tbh, I've grown accustomed to the "way of the Li", and I kinda like it. :)

  3. Without a doubt, Deus is a meta call. It can easily be switched out for A) Sharpshooter...B) Net Shield...or C) Feedback Filter, depending on how my usual opponents are setting up at the time. Honestly though, I have needed it, and it has been a big help in surviving nasty Corp assaults.

Again, thank you for the encouragement...I'm glad to have built something that someone considers inspiring for a change. :)
