The Server of Error and Darkness

Hello, this is a deck that I made with cards from the popular Living Card Game 'Android:Netrunner.' You may have heard of it!

This is a 'Fast Advance' deck only in the sense that it has Astroscript. It makes use of the Grail suite of ICE for strong early and late game protection.

I think what this deck and identity offers in terms of unique strength is great consistency. There are lots of early game scoring windows because these cards are yellow, but it transitions gracefully into late-game, like Meryl Streep. Midway Station Grid is very taxing in conjunction with Markus and Grail ICE. Shell Corporation is there for you when your Operation Economy is gone. I've also had fun throwing it into a scoring remote unrezzed to watch the Runner break their back trying to get to what they assume is an Agenda.

This has not been tournament tested as of yet and I'm interested in feedback. There is a surprising amount of flex considering this is a deck with forty-four cards. Here's the rationale behind some of the choices.

I went with Anonymous Tip for sheer burst. With a larger hand-size it's easier to play around big draws. I feel that, if I end up in a situation where I could have really used Jackson's removal ability, I made a mistake.

Shipment from SanSan is a weird one, but it's surprisingly useful. I considered just adding more straight economy, but the real benefit in this card is that most players don't expect you to be able to score an Agenda with one credit.

Troll over Pop-Up is maybe silly, but all my Pop-Up's are tied up in 'Just Ice and Agendas 2.' Honestly I'm not sure if it makes that tremendous of a difference.

I'm a big fan of Daily Business Show. Unless the Runner has some trashing utility, I usually set it on it's own and shrug if the Runner pays four credits. Being able to cycle through a small deck even faster is real neat.

Thanks for reading. Here's to turn one Merlin kills!

Oh, and Markus 1.0 over Eli is just because I like Markus. I think the surprise trash opportunities are maybe worth the slightly weaker strength compared to Eli.

I think Markus is a fairly cool splash. People love to run last click vs. NBN.

In the aftermath of the Troy, IL store championship, I'm very happy with how this performed. I dropped one game to Valencia and picked up the other four. It's going to be difficult but I think I'll have to find a way to include Crisium Grid, probably cutting two Markus 1.0. That's a shame because he was a solid performer all day, but so it goes.
