Haas Bioroid Midrange - The Winning Agenda Episode 17

DonutTaganes 2548

Greetings! Jesse from The Winning Agenda here.

This is my Haas Bioroid Midrange deck as featured in episode 17.

The objective of the deck is to defend your centrals lightly using an Eli, Markus or Viper early, then have a Tollbooth/Roto and a smaller Ice on the remote.

Then, once you've absorbed a couple of runs on your centrals and depleted the runner's economy, you score out of the remote. Otherwise, if they are not aggressive early, you can use Ash and the speed of the event economy in the deck to force an agenda through the remote.

The deck can function well against aggressive or controlling decks. choosing the right time to install the agenda in the remote is the key.

Any questions, ask away!

I run a bit more of a fast advance version of this deck--one that doesn't include any 5/3's anymore. My list is here:

netrunnerdb.com

I just found it too hard to consistently score out 5/3's, no matter how much ice I put out there, so I replaced them with NAPD's and one-pointers. It put me up to 11 agendas (12 if you include the one Domestic Sleepers), but it really helped the deck's win consistency. If I can over advance a Project Vitruvius early, it puts the runner in a terrible position for the rest of the game.

Also, I still have a Roto in my build, but I think I will cut it. I am imagining that, with all the new Anarch decks, parasites will be flying around like crazy. Remember that Architect cannot be destroyed once it is rezzed (and Lotus Field is immune to parasite/datasucker, though not to the new cutlery events).

If you are going to go with the 5/3's, then you might want to try

-1 Blue Level Clearance, -1 Restructure, +2 Bioroid Efficiency Research

-1 Rototurret, +1 Janus 1.0.

-1 Heimdal 1.0, +1 Heimdall 2.0

You are already playing a bunch of Bioroid Ice. I used to play this build and it was really fun rezzing a Heimdal 2.0 against Criminal on HQ first turn. It buys you quite a bit of time before you see that first Account Siphon.
