[TWA] MaxX Reanimator Aggro

This is a hyper-aggressive MaxX list.

The plan is to consistently and efficiently get a rig together through the use of retrieval run, déjà vu, clone chip and MaxX's draw power.

Recurring parasite to kill more taxing ice like Eli or tollbooth, while data sucker and desperado make your clicks super efficient and encourage early, aggressive running.

Face checking with this deck is less taxing than it can be in other lists. You will either force your opponent to Rez ice, get an access, or maybe lose a program to a roto turret. However, your programmes being trashed (while annoying) isn't as big a blow out in this list as it is in most runners.

Like all aggro decks, this list excels in the early game.

Using inject to draw your recursion, economy and desperado while filling your heap with recursion targets is a fantastic way to accelerate your game plan.

Being able to recurr an early medium or nerve agent can really put the pressure on your opponent, and the one-of demolition run in combination with your multi-access viruses can be disruptive enough to put the corp well behind.

If the corp can get to the late game, you will have issues. Keeping you off data sucker counters can make things hard, but knight is your back up for ice like archer, lotus field and heimdal if things don't go to plan.

All in all, I've found this list to be very consistent and very punishing. It's refreshing to go back to an aggro runner in a meta that has favoured midrange and control lists for some time.

not a fan of face-checking and getting discard on your Déjà Vu from some sentries ... but hey ... not playing MaxX: Maximum Punk Rock

Hey Dydra,

Yeah, Facechecking is a really important part of any aggressive stratedgy. Fortunatley, the current meta isn't rife with many punishing sentries that are cheap to Rez early-game.

Like any matchup, when face checking you need to take into consideration the matchup, your opponents credits and cards you've seen on RND when face checking.

I'm not saying you always take damage or lose programmes, I'm just saying that if it does happen, while not ideal, it's not the end of the game like it can be with other runners.

I was shocked to see no copies of IHW, but I guess it makes sense, Inject is a better draw card for the deck, and this deck wants to move faster than IHW?

@Ber yeah, exactly right. Inject advances your game plan in every way you want. Recurring your programs can be cheaper than playing them from hand, not to mention being able to install a mimic any instant speed.

Basically, if you have your programs in your hand, it's not where you want to be.

Obviously IHW is good scorched protection, but in a deck where you run out of cards quick, it's not much help. Also you want to aggro out and win the game before the corp can assemble/afford scorched.

Why no D4v1ds? They could play a similar role to Knight (though not against Lotus Field). Playing a 1-of and you're bound to get it in hand or in the bin eventually, could it be a useful trick play?
