Kind of a prehistoric decklist since the only O&C card is Knifed, but after extensive experimentation with a Prepaid version with Inject, I've Had Worse, Day Job, etc... I just feel like ProCon/Kati is more consistent. The Legwork/Knight thing is supposed to help against NEH... plus. you know, Keyhole. Super strong against Blue Sun though I still seem to get myself Punatived often enough.

What about Wanton Destruction instead of Legwork? They do play similar purposes, except one of them is in faction. That would free influence for, well, whatever you think would be best.

Anyway, I like the deck a lot! Congrats on your 2nd place!

@Bananifier I don't agree, Wanton Destruction costs more clicks and won't get the agenda if theirs Jackson on the board. Legwork comes with its own downsides, the 2 cards play out rather different if you think about it.

@Bananifier``@Pinkwarrior: Well from a "Pressure HQ to make up for Keyhole's lack of R&D lock" perspective they are similar. But yes, Wanton Destruction is much more click intensive, and a little clunky to use with Knight. Previous versions of the deck had Clone Chip in that 4 influence and that's obviously good. I'd have trouble picking 2 or 3 cards to cut to make room however.

Was keeping Plascrete Carapace over I've had worse worth it?

@whirrun I never feel like I need more draw in a Professional Contacts deck but your mileage may vary... it might be worth testing. I did get flatlined once on the day by a double Scorch with the Cleaners scored so I suppose holding 2 I've Had Worse at 5 cards would have saved me where a single Plascrete Carapace wouldn't but it's pretty hard to hold cards like that in a ProCon deck. Against the same deck in the finals I got down both Plascretes and only had to worry about a triple Punative (lost on time, being the lower seed).

Congrats on the finish! I count 11 breakers not counting parasite. Why so many breakers?

23 Feb 2015 JWHamner

@DarlingSensei You're counting Knifed and D4v1d as a breakers too I guess? I suppose I run a lot because I want to draw them and I don't have any tutors. I need Knight as an answer to Lotus Field, Mimic to address Architect, D4v1d for big ice, etc. Certainly another way to build Anarch is to spend influence on tutors, but this way is running multiple copies of things you want to see and saying "I'll use Professional Contacts" a lot.

@JWHamner Thanks for the great game in the top four! Good to see some representation from the tourney on here :-)

Maybe too risky, but what about Oracle May and Motivation in place of Professional Contacts? Maybe removing the daily casts for deck space?

@Veste Yeah, that was a super tight game... by the skin of my teeth (and Keyhole).

@ratamacube Personally I feel like the fact that you need two cards, instead of one, to get your draw going is really going to hurt the deck's consistency... but definitely try it out and report back!

I've played a few games with this deck, and it's awesome! There are a lot of synergies that really make it tick. Knifed with Quetzal is very nice against all the Weyland you can encounter right now, the econ' package is very solid and the rig quite clever (d4v1d/mimic/yog + floating Knight/Parasite). I love it!

@Bananifier That's great! The major weakness is Blue Sun: Powering the Future + Lotus Field, but you can spend the extra click to move the Knight to unrezzed ICE and you generally laugh at their other ICE so I think it's a fair trade off.
