Valencia - HQ Control

Working on a concept deck and would love some feedback. Recently brought this to a 48-person SC...went undefeated in the first 3 rounds of Swiss, had 2 close losses, and 1 complete meltdown.

The idea (I won't mention the obvious Blackmail spam):

  1. Force the corp to keep HQ size low through as much Bad Publicity as you can land (averaged 4 per game over 6 rounds of Swiss), and Itinerant Protesters.

  2. You can also incentivize them to keep their hand size down through Vigil (as you are running a 50 card deck, the corp will want to deny you draw).

  3. Use Raymond Flint and HQI to grab accesses from a small HQ, ideally increasing odds of grabbing agendas. Imp away key combo pieces.

Other plays:

Utopia Shard synergizes well here too, though I'd like to fit in Eden Shard as well. It's an expensive play, though. BP makes Crypsis considerably cheaper to use, although still quite slow.

Breakdowns:

Consistency: Despite tons of draw, I sometimes struggled to find even one Blackmail, or other key pieces. Money: MOpus early is absolutely critical. I'm also unsure that it's the best econ engine here, as the deck is already very click-intensive. D4v1d: Was pretty much always a dead draw, even against the Blue Sun decks (which is why I packed it).
