Gagarin on the Ground

This is just a fun little deck I've been working with. It manages to be effective, simply because of its kitchen sink approach, but requires a bit of NEH-style bluffing to pull off. There is also plenty of room for improvement, obvs, if the Hostile Takeovers and NAPD Contracts weren't clue enough, though I've won with a naked 6-point NAPD (thank you, scored Eden Shard!).

The trick here is to read your runner and punish them for playing to their strengths. Anarch across the table? Suck up all his runs and cash with asset after asset. Build a deep server to drain Criminal funds. Shapers will probably have your number, but they tend to focus on one thing, so shotgun servers across the table, and force them to think outside their box.

Your MVPs here are your Hostile Takeovers. Diversified Portfolios could easily be swapped out with Beanstalk Royalties, or more useful assets, but then they wouldn't pad out your HQ or make an easy choice for Hemorrhaging. Don't be afraid of setting down an agenda in open-air servers, either. One NAPD getting scored is usually enough to open a scoring window for another, and if not, that's what Overwriter and Junebug are for. Never let the right play be the obvious one.

Also, Plan B is hilarious for Hostile Takeover, and even better if you can pull off a bigger agenda. Someday I will score Government Takeover off of Plan B, or even more daringly, Sakai. This I vow.
