Dublin Store Championship - 2nd after Swiss, 25 players.

Standard enough Stealth Andromeda deck that stood by me well on the day. Only dropped 1 game in Swiss (against standard Fastrobiotics deck), then a further game in top 8 elimination. A couple of changes that I made to this were specifically to deal with what I thought would be a Blue Sun heavy meta. It was a good call, as 5 out of my 6 runner games were Weyland (4 Blue Sun and 1 Titan Transnational). So, Emergency Shutdown is in to punish massive ice, and Breach is in for fracter redundancy. Also because if Weyland OAI's Curtain Wall on turn 1 Hedge, Install, Run will mess them up. If your meta likes Blue Sun, try it out. Most Stealth Andy decks I see usually run feedback filter too, I opted to swap it out. If you get set up before the corp has scored an agenda, you're gonna have a good time. I know it's slow to get going, but once you've hit full speed, this is a great deck.

Notes:

2x R&DI is a must in my opinion. Getting one early makes every access on R&D twice as valuable.

I'd consider swapping Legwork for HQI, but in my experience Legwork is better (but susceptible to Crisium)

I know 2x Desperado isn't ideal, but I have 1 core set and could only borrow one other.

Even though meta was Blue Sun heavy, I think 1x Plascrete is enough because...

Utopia Shard is a beast, disrupting combos and just being a generally great utility card.

Would love advice on where I could take this deck in future.

Thanks for the games Mike, thought your deck put on a lot of pressure vs my Blue Sun and I got relatively lucky in the elims to be able to get to 6 points before you could find a plascrete.

In my experience US is really good and I love its broad utility vs plascrete but if Weyland is your most difficult match up I'd definitely recommend 2 plascretes. Mike drew 2 plascretes in his opening hand against me in the final and that was essentially the game won.

I have yet to have my kill combos be disrupted with a Utopia Shard, probably because my deck has so much redundancy (punitives + scorches + extra damage via Cleaners) and that after bouncing an ice and mandatory drawing I usually have 6 cards in hand after playing a SEA or Punitive so picking the right 2 cards is a difficult task.

Ha, I love it. The first comment is by the person who killed my Andy in Top 8!

Yes, great games on the day. Your Blue Sun was super tight! Good advice on the Utopia Shard, I must give that more consideration. Originally the deck was running 2x Plascrete and 1 Utopia, but I wanted room for a second Inside Job. Time for more testing I think.

Look forward to more games in Galway!

I hate having to slot plascretes into my runner decks too, and I didn't have one in my Kate deck, I understand your pain! It's beneficial to me when other runners don't run them either so y'know feel free to take them out :P

From winning in Wicklow to near the bottom in Dublin, I didn't get the pleasure of facing either your or the "other" Mike S Andro builds - but comparing the two, I think I like yours a little better. I'm not a fan of John Masanori in the other build and I like your Utopia Shard choice.

I've never played Stealth Criminals, so what is it you're looking for in an initial hand? Do you want access to at least one stealth credit (ie - cloak, silencer) or is it just normal Mulligan for Sure Gamble, Desperado, Security Testing?

The only card-draw I'd consider is Earthrise. Masanori stops you from running in a lot of circumstances before you have a full rig in my experience. No doubt that he's really powerful if you're going tag-me, or even for the security testing combo. I tested an earlier version of this deck with 2x Mr Li as well, but you get to a point where you want all the cards you draw, then he's off little value.

Initial hand you want Sure Gamble, Desperado (and Sec Testing, why not) and ideally 1/2 breakers, but more importantly, 2 sources of stealth credits. It's not a deal breaker, but an early Cloak/Ghost Runner enables a lot of stuff for this deck. I won a game on Sunday by accessing NAPD with only 2 credits, but crucially, 3 on Ghost Runner.

Never thought of using Ghost Runner credits for an NAPD Contract! Always learning new things in this game :)
