Fight Night Runner Deck 2 (v2)

matryx 15

Runner Deck 2 for my group's randomised Fight Night. Post game revisions.

What started as an attempt to try and get a deck to work with Au Revoir has turned into a "not entirely terrible" mill deck.

This is a mill deck focussed around three cards. When set up (which does not take long) you'll be milling two cards a turn for the rest of the game with next to no danger from corp tricks.

Try to get Data Leak Reversal into your hand asap, because you'll be pairing that with John Masanori. Use him first click with Snitch to deliberately fail a run, then mill two cards from DLR, and finally clear the tag. Au Revoir will fund your tag removal when you get them out.

Data Leak Reversal is the only card you cannot tutor for with an event (Test Run can yield Snitch and Hostage can lead you to John Masanori). However, if you can't find it - you can get a Logos out and let the corp score something to grab it.

Feint can be used to both combo with your identity for a neat reveal, but also to allow you to install Data Leak Reversal, as can Inside Job. Eater is pretty much just there for emergencies along with Kati Jones.

When you're established, Early Bird will let you mill 3 cards on the turns you use it.

Logos Targets in order of priority:

Changes since v1:

Ditched Networking since when Au Revoir is set up you won't need it at all. Also ditched Plascrete Carapace since you're not keeping tags and shouldn't be running into traps. Added Earthrise Hotel for card draw and then some Easy Mark/Early Bird to round out the numbers.

Two ETR-ice on Archives should shut down the deck pretty much... maybe Emergency-Femme; also helps against Swordsman.

Yep - it certainly has its flaws, most notably if the corp twigs early on - I was toying with Crypsis over Eater for that specific issue, but at the very least if they double ETR on archives you can still push to run them dry so they lose when they can't draw.

2 mill plus one draw per turn puts them on a pretty tight clock once they realise what's going on.

Maybe a Hades Shard might do well in as another Logos target.

I might be missing something but why silhouette?

That wouldn't be obvious from the deck itself but my local group were having a little fun competition to build decks (3 Corp and 3 runner) around randomly chosen IDs. My runner number 2 was Silhouette: Stealth Operative
