Ghost in the Stealth v2.0

Shisen 37

Hey folks, I'm back again with an updated version of my Kate Stealth deck. Most of the information can be taken from the first deck, I'll just explain the changes. Hades Shard was removed as a result of its inconsistency. Included a Femme Fatale for the new influence and liked the inclusion so far. Works especially nice with scavenge which has to be in the deck because of the doggy. Net Celebrity was also cut from the deck. The card itself sounded good but after a while a saw myself dumping the card more frequently than playing it. Added an extra scavenge as a result because it works nicely with either femme or dog. Last little change is the switch from quality time and diesel to diesel only. Reason: personal preference.

Let me know if there's something you'd change, hope some of you will have fun with this fast stealth deck :) cheers~

Is it really fast? AFAIK Magnum Opus != fast :) Also you have clunky pieces like Dyson Mem Chip and Underworld Contact. But nice try. I played 'killing me softly with a paintbrush and a dagger' deck - a year ago or so - it was really interesting.

Hey, thanks for the reply :) the deck may look slow at first but in most matches, I'm able to put pressure on the corp rather early. Mopus is mostly played when you draw into it or fear something like SEA Source or Midseason Replacements coming. For the rest you're usually fine with Sure Gamble for the start. Kate does wonders. I usually try to get a Ghost Runner and Self-modifying Code out as early as possible and use kate's ability every turn if possible by installing either stealth credits or Dysons. If there really is a shortage on money you can still get the Mopus with SMC. Underworld Contact sets the economy mid and lategame. I don't try to get all breakers out asap, I rather try to have SMC and maybe a Clone Chip early and face-check Ice in order to get what I need first. I played around with 'killing me softly' too because I loved the idea, but honestly, after playing both decks for quite a long time I have to say that I'm able to pressure the corp earlier with this one. I just love the pure efficiency of stealth breakers. If played correctly you can have your way early and if it gets to mid and lategame, you just rip through multi-ice servers. Tested the deck against nbn and titan fast advance, against glacier, jinteki and what not and it did fine. You have to get used to the deck but once you set your priorities about what to bring out at what times, you'll have a blast with the deck :) but then again, thanks for the reply. Nice to see people who are still interested in stealth decks.
