Starlight Crusade Funding

(WARNING: SOME EXAGGERATION AND IDIOTIC RAMBLING AHEAD)

This deck shouldn't work. This combination of extremely niche, or even flat out bad cards should never be put together in a deck you want to win with.

This deck is also terrifying Hayley Kaplain is all about maximizing click efficiency, being able to install two PPVP's in one clic, or two atmans(men?) in a single click is amazing, possibly even better than Kate. Comet also pushes this idea of doubling your efficiency.

I had a disgusting idea to use Adjusted Chronotype and Starlight Crusade to play a double PPVP event economy deck, just for fun. This turned out to be the best runner deck iv'e made from scratch,

Every double event becomes twice as efficient with Starlight Crusade Funding and Adjusted Chronotype. Add Comet and PPVP's and you've got a stew cooking.

Public sympathy instead of plascrete for our scorch protection (as if we need it with all our money) to maximize Game Day and be able to hole the insanely high amount of cards drawn. Parasite, Datasuckers, and Atman for Parasite recursion/ice destruction. A potential twelve ice destroyed at best (most of the time only like seven though.)

I really don't know how to describe this deck beyond insanely quick and aggressive. Iv'e almost wished i could have four levy's in this deck at some points, with how fast your'e blowing through your economy and card draw. After your first go around everything that isn't unique should be in play, further refining your card draw to only hit economy or more draw. With three R&D interfaces out by turn four, and all your Atman's and suckers out turn five, you can pound R&D constantly.

Often times the correct thing to do as the cor is to purge, which does almost nothing to stop you from steamrolling all over R&D. Swordsman got you down? Clone chip -> Parasite -> Datasucker. You should NEVER be out of money or card draw with this deck, and the worst thing that could happen is losing all of your levy's to damage, which shouldn't happen with your potential hand size of eleven.

Sorry for ranting, iv'e played this on Jinteki.net about twenty something times and haven't lost a single game. Try this deck. Please.

3 Levy AR Lab Access maybe are too many,no?

And then...no sentry breaker? what about Swordsman ?

I've had games where I need to use two Lab Accesses, and if one gets sniped by net damage I'm out of luck. Swordsman shouldn't be a problem if you have a datasucker out and a parasite in the heap. You have three clone chips to either insta-kill it or to revive the Atman the swordsman kills.

I love the Adjusted Chronotype/Starlight Crusade Funding synergy, and the use of Comet and doubles to augment it; with the Prepaid VoicePADs it looks like a really solid econ setup.

However, this is going to suffer the exact same issues as the Katman/sucker decks do; inflexibility. Where do you put your Atmans? One pretty much has to be at 4 because of Lotus Field. One at 0 is really common, otherwise low STR ETRs mess you up. Where does the 3rd one go? Higher than 4 and it costs you 3 Datasucker tokens to get through a Wall of Static. Lower than 4 and you'll not get through Hadrian's Wall or Curtain Wall in a month of sundays. I could see this deck tearing rush decks apart, but I think most Weyland decks would chew it to bits.

Also, having 3 atmans, 3 datasuckers, 3 R&D and, out of neccessity, Comet, out by turn 5 is not mathematically possible, even with Hayley. The closest you can get is with a turn starting with AC and SCF with Comet, which is <1% chance of getting in the opening hand. You would then require a perfect series of draws from events (you need to draw at least 13 more cards) to get you enough money whilst also getting both enough card draw and all the neccessary programs and hardware, but even that couldn't do it before turn 6.

It's a really good looking concept for a deck; I don't see why you felt the need to exaggerate so much.

Yeah, I did exaggerate like crazy, just didnt realize by how much. I'm just extremely pumped for being able to play this deck in person. You're right about the somewhat slow setup, but once you get your public Sympathy's out, your game day's are insane along with comet and other hand depleting tools.

The Power Naps would seem to become a little insane, too! I'm looking forward to trying it

I agree with Jashay. You kinda need D4v1d in there...
