Akroma: The Angel of Cayambe

Anarch — G-mod

Protection from ICE.

At the beginning of your turn, draw 2 cards, gain 2 and you may install 1 resource or piece of hardware reducing it's cost by 2.

The advancement requirement of all agendas is increased by 1.

Your maximum hand size is increased by 2.

: Draw 1 card and gain 1. You may only use this ability twice per turn.

The first run you make on R&D per game, access all of R&D.

Full Disclosure: I didn't come up with this delicious jankiness on my own. It's base on a deck that a friend of mine saw on the Internet.

First you install an Incubator or two and buy some time with The Source. Then you build an econ engine consisting of Gene Conditioning Shoppe, Adjusted Chronotype, Wyldside and Hard at Work. While Paige Piper, Symmetrical Visage and The Supplier streamline the process, they are not essential.

Once the engine is built, it allows you to draw into the other cards and have the money to install them. Public Sympathy lets you hold onto the cards you need for your finishing move, which should look something like this:

  1. Amped Up
  2. Mass Install
  3. , : Incubator --> Hivemind
  4. , : Incubator --> Hivemind
  5. Surge --> Hivemind
  6. Blackmail R&D accessing 30+ cards.

Like the idea but Amped Up causes a Braindamage... if the Corp trashes the Hivemind / Blackmail / Mass Install before you can play it, then you're screwed... no?

btw. Exposé

True. I suppose you'd have to Mass Install first but then you could still lose the Blackmail. I'll have to think about this a little bit. Amped Up might not be the best choice here.

Re: Exposé, I'm not claiming this is a great deck. It'll be fun to play a few times and see if you can get it to work.

In theory wouldn't you still have creds leftover so if you can't Blackmail you could still just run with Darwin?

7 Apr 2015 yarsiemanym

Yes. That is the purpose of Darwin in the deck but it's not nearly as satisfying as Blackmail :-)

I'm sorry but Surge and Incubator won't work. Placing and Moving isn't the same. It's been covered by a Tweet from Lucas once, don't have any link though.

Nice!

You could Surge the Incubator before trashing it to Hivemind. But you do not have enough clicks to use the Surge? With your 'engine' online, it's Wyldside (lose 1), adjusted chronotype (gain 1), Hard at Work (lose 1). So 3 clicks left when you play Amped up? Up to 4, mass install, incubator, incubator and blackmail?

I added to favorites immidiately because the junkiness in this deck is too damn high! hehe.

@Elodius Gene Conditioning Shoppe with Adjusted Chronotype returns the click from Wyldslide and Hard at Work

ooh... Nice ! thx!

@Wolfknight: Can't you surge hivemind because it you place a counter on it on install?

@yarsiemanym: tweaked the deck "a little". Still leaves the prob with the BP-dependency but with the increased money, you should be able to pay for the run even without Blackmail.

Surge 'just' gives you 4 cards more, so I dropped it and added a Djin for Speed. Hostage for tutoring Supplier/Piper/Kati/Source at will.

Solution for Amped Up-Problem: install first, keep two blackmail in hand so the damage doesn't matter.
