Argus: Shag and Bag - Top 8 GNK

I'm fairly new to netrunner but this deck won every game at my first tournament ever a few weeks ago at the Fantasy Flight Game Center in Roseville, MN. I'm very proud of this deck but suggestions are always welcomed.

That looks supremely unpleasant! Do you find you have enough ICE to protect the Dedicated Response Teams? Or do you just play a shell game, playing the Snare!s and daring them to run unrezzed remotes?

Given the thrust of the deck, have you considered Posted Bounty? It can help set up your Scorched Earth plays, and might fit better than False Lead.

@Jashay I like to place a Data Raven and Checkpoint infront of Dedicated Response Team to psyche them out thinkin its a 3/1 and lure them into the flatline.

To be honest I feel like all of the cards synergize pretty well with each other and and there many ways to trick them into the flatline. Shell games are possible with this deck when done at a right tempo but it all depends on how aggressive is the runner is pressuring servers.

@Jashay False Lead is currently being tested over Posted Bounty and so far they both do great jobs at aiding the flatline so I'm not sure which to keep yet.

I've never been a fan of Dedicated Response Team in Argus. It's a redundancy that forces the runner to take 2 meat instead of the tag, but it costs you 2 credits to force that decision, in which they can turn around and trash for 2c or less due to bad pub from Hostile Takeover. No one in their right mind would let Argus have 2+ undefended remotes, and you can't put a Data Raven over everything.

Otherwise it's a very solid deck. I think 1x or 2x Posted Bounty is enough. It's hard to drop the Chronos Protocol. I particularly love the Capital Investors.

@hi_impact good point, would you suggest a better alternative for DRT?

Shag? You do realise that's British slang for having sex, right?

@tomdidiot this deck bags em then shags em, pretty straightforward imo

I'd say 2 false lead 2 posted bounty. 1 false lead makes snare better, 2 false lead means you can just score and use posted bounty.
