Riot v.3 (Run a lot Noise)

Changes

Dropped the one of Express Delivery simply because I needed the influence for the addition of Eden Shard. Eden Shard is insurance against Hades Fragment and save the day Jackson installs. This certainly isn't necessary, and the random Express Delivery did add to consistency, but I don't like having a card that can just completely take away one of my win conditions.

Switched out the 2 Hacktivist Meetings for Immolation Scripts. Not 100% sure about this change yet, but I do like the added ICE destruction. It also makes my Keyhole runs a lot more devastating.

I toyed with taking out a single Armitage to make it 45 cards, but after talking to my play group, we decided that a 3rd Armitage is better than 45 cards. Pretty sure this is mainly preference, but it seems to serve me alright. The deck does tend spend money, so the more makers you have, the better.

Orgins

So I got really tired of seeing never run Noise decks. I'm also a guy who likes to run, A LOT, when I play Anarch.

I've always liked Noise's ability, but never liked the idea of just hanging back and installing a bunch of viruses. I more or less just viewed his ability as a passive thing that could screw the corp up. Then I saw someone play an Eater + Keyhole deck, and I knew Noise needed to exploit this!

The point of this deck is to just trash R&D as much as you can. Whenever you have enough 's to make a Keyhole run, do it. My biggest problem with Noise has always been his economy. I know plenty of Noise decks run the Cache + Aesop's Pawnshop combo with usually Sure Gamble or something, and that's fine when you aren't running, but this deck is meant for running. So it has a lot more econ cards, and it's pretty solid. There have only ever been a few turns were I was clicking for 1.

Influence

It's a pretty standard CacheShop influence package. The 3rd Pawnshop was dropped for Hades Shard and Eden Shard. With the Wyldtype combo, you'll generally see it in the early mid game. Honestly, this deck doesn't need Pawnshop, it just helps push you into a strong position.

Eden Shard could easily be switched back to Express Delivery for consistency, which I may do for the final build of this deck. Only issue is a CI deck with a scored Hades Fragment is literally unwinnable with this deck without Eden Shard, so it's an odd meta-call. Express Delivery is probably better, but with the Wyldtype draw, it's a generally consistent anyway. So it's more of a preference :)

Final Thoughts

You don't need Aesop's Pawnshop in your opening hand, or at all really to have the deck operate. I don't mind CCing a Cache if it'll give the 's to Keyhole run. I'll also use I've Had Worse as a draw card to be aggressive rather than defensive. Got to keep that pressure up. This deck is quite good, I've only lost twice with it. Once I got way too get greedy. I had six points of agendas, my opponent had 3, and only 5 cards left in his library. I decided to Keyhole run when he had Valley Grid installed on R&D, which set me up for him to kill me. I should've just kicked back and installed a couple of viruses. But you play and learn right? The second time was against CI deck with a scored Hades Fragment.

I have a lot of fun playing this deck. When I first picked up NetRunner, Noise was my guy, but I could never really make a good deck that I enjoyed playing. Well this is it, it's aggressive, has consistent economy, and keeps the corp on tilt (exactly what Anarch should be doing in my humble opinion). With Eater + Keyhole and Noise's ability, you should have no problem burning through their R&D, trashing anything of value (Riot).
