Sage of the Street Chess

DubTak 3

Combining the "Sage it aint so" deck from Bad Publicity and "Street Chess" deck from Netrunomicon. Untested as of 12 June 2015.

Econ is drip from Data Folding and Underworld Contact, Street Chess draw/credit engine from Deep Red & Scheherazade & Pawn (and Aesop's Pawnshop for a little extra 3 off of Pawn), standard burst from Sure Gamble, and a little from Lockpick to use with Sage. Sage and Creeper are made affordable by e3 Feedback Implants. Personal Workshop and The Supplier for cheaper installs.

Tutoring programs from your stack is Self-modifying Code andTest Run, tutoring from heap (gotta get that Exile: Streethawk draw) is Test Run, Clone Chip, Scavenge, and Pawn. Hardware tutoring with Tyson Observatory (it's slow, but sometimes you just can't find Deep Red or e3 Feedback Implants or Dyson Mem Chip fast enough), resource tutoring through Hostage.

This should, in theory, work. It might run a bit too slowly (maybe a Clot to slow fast-advance down a bit?), but you'll have reliable breakers for any situation, consistent money and draw, and , s, and for days once the engine gets rolling.

As this is my first posted deck, I'd appreciate any feedback. Long Live Shaper Shenanigans!

You've got a lot of econ; Lockpick might be able to be Replicator. You've got 16 hardware, and Replicator gets you multiples and lets you thin out uniques, and best of all, isn't required to make the deck work at all.

I was originally packing Replicator but cut it for space, which made me sad. I'll try to squeeze it back in, but I do love me my ...

Forgot to add @FarCryFromHuman to that reply, so imagine that it's there.

I guess my question is then, how frequently do you feel you couldn't run without the ? They are great, don't get me wrong, but I don't think you need them. As a runner you want to reduce your setup and aggression time as much as possible within the parameters of your deck. Do you think Lockpick or Replicator is better for this?

@FarCryFromHuman More testing is required. I'll see if the deck runs well as-is, with Replicator, or with other tweaks. I'm giving serious consideration to dropping Aesop's Pawnshop and The Supplier for 1 or 2 Replicators and/or a third Deep Red. Maybe even shuffle some things around for a Retrieval Run or 2?
