I CANT POSSIBLY BE NASIRIOUS

This is a deck built around the realization that Crescentus + Rook is even more hilarious in Nasir. This deck is somewhat based off of Quinn's Tier One Nasir Deck, with the HQ Interfaces and Rooks. Nasir can get rolling really quickly, especially with Rooks to slow the corp down, and using the threat of early Interfaces or Indexing. Has a very good matchup against most glacier decks and is solid against most rush & fast advance decks. Where you really lose with this deck is against tag and bag, due to your inability to keep a solid credit pool.

NOTABLE EXCLUSIONS AND WHY THEY'RE EXCLUDED

Imp: This is the card that I really wish I had the influence to spare for. I tried a version of this deck with 2 Rooks and 1 Crescentus with one Imp, but it just didn't give the early tempo I needed. Add it back in if you're mega terrified of scorch or SanSan is all the rage in your meta, or if NAPD is giving you a headache.

Kati Jones: First, I only ever want one copy of her, but I can't tutor for her - this means that she has to take up a couple of dead slots in my deck. Second, later on when you just need to keep busting through ice, Magnum Opus is much better for the ability to say "Take 8, go ahead."

Levy AR Lab Access: Once you've gone through this deck once, you've usually got everything you need from it. Maybe add this back in if PE or Argus is huge in your meta.

Cyber-Cypher: God I love this card, but you usually need to run it with either more copies or another decoder, and it just doesn't match the long-term power of Study Guide.

Stealth Breakers: The rationale behind using stealth is that you won't be able to consistently get through a server because the corp can just rez cheap ice in front of their already rezzed expensive ice. The trick to not using stealth is to derez their expensive ice in the back so they have to rez it and give you cash again.

I would drop the Garrote for Imp. You can fiddle with your Rook & Crescentus numbers to fit in a Mimic instead.

How does this deck do against cheap ice with fast stuff? It doesn't seem like you'd make it through a gear check ice well with Battering Ram and Garrote as the only ways to break barriers and sentries. Even a +2 from Rook won't get a Battering Ram off of Wall of Static with an SMC.

Does Notoriety do anything that The Maker's Eye wouldn't do?

I do have lady as well, so that helps. Remember that rook also really helps by making the corp bleed money wherever they go.

Battering ram is the late game fracter, Early game you hopefully get to use Lady.

No, notoriety isn't that good. But it's notoriety, man! Where's your sense of fun?

It's too bad Personal Workshop is so important, because Paparazzi would be fun as hell in this deck.

The problem with Paparazzi is that the corp can just trash it if they want, unfortunately.

Garrote sucks.
