Big Ice 1.3

Saintis 387

My basic Weyland Big Ice glacier deck.

Meta: Cambridge, UK

Three ways to win:

  1. Score out
  2. Punitive Counterstrike
  3. Advanced Project Junebug

Tried this with Blue Sun: Powering the Future, don't have the Oversight AI to make it work so Weyland Consortium: Building a Better World works better for now (so much ).

Mulligan

Mulligan any hand with agendas in it. Econ is not that necessary early.

Ideal ICE is Checkpoint / Enigma / Ice Wall / Caduceus. Anything cheap really.

Cards

Often find myself keeping Punitive Counterstrike and several pieces of ICE on hand, hence the Research Station and The Twins.

Housekeeping is great early game as it will be (hopefully) forever until they manage to steal an Agenda.

Glenn Station mostly to host Government Takeover, could be an Project Atlas for drawing the Punitive Counterstrike.

Reversed Accounts is great for install and next turn 2x advance then pop. Discounts a Day Job.

Project Junebug is great to bluff the agendas. If they don't go for it, start slow advance it and bluff a Government Takeover.

ICE

An early Checkpoint on R&D is great to discourage digging and potentially use up D4V1D counters.

Use Ice Wall early and later to protect Adonis Campaign and PAD Campaign.

Use Priority Requisition to rezz Curtain Wall.

Changeling is best advanced once as a Sentry.

Fire Wall and Tollbooth make up your main protective / scoring server.

Use Caduceus early to protect HQ / R&D, and wherever you place Dracō make sure its boosted as relevant (4 against Mimic).

Swaps

Potentially swap in a Cyberdex Virus Suite and some Space Camp if people run R&D in your meta.

Stats

Government Takeovers scored: 1
