Forced Lobotomy

My first build on the site!

My goal is to start the runner off with -1 hand size from the identity, then with hand size restriction from Self-Destruct Chips and Gyri Labyrinth, combined with brain damage à la last-click Ichi 1.0, convincing Cerebral Overwriter, and the lucky Ryon Knight, work that hand size down to zero, or preferably less than that, so they flatline.

Since lots of card slots are taken up by trap assets, econ comes from Hedge Fund, Gila Hands Arcology, Pop-up Window, Caduceus, and a one-off Subliminal Messaging just cause I love it and I feel it really does psyche the runner out.

Ice is taxing although porous, but that's part of the plan to lure the runner into a tasty trap.

Constrictive feedback from more experienced and advanced players is greatly appreciated!

I feel that you need more money. Traps are surprisingly expensive. Cerebral and Snare commit you to having money on hand all the time, so you are basically paying for them right up front, which is a big hit to your pace. Trap decks don't need so many ice, so I'd cut Gyri Labyrinth to make room. I dislike Gyri Labyrinth because the subroutine never resolves when it's important. If the runner cares (which they usually don't at the start of the game) it's really cheap to break.

@Greasythumb ok I'll probably cut more ice, but what kind of econ? Adonis/ Eve Campaign?

Those are both good shouts. They're surprisingly different considering their superficial similarities. Eve gives you more money over a longer period and can be more lightly defended due to its higher trash cost. Adonis often lives in a scoring remote while you set up. I think a lower ice count pushes you towards Eve, but you may find that it's too sluggish for your plan.

If you're playing out lots of cards, Green Level Clearance could be good. It's also a nice recovery card to get back into Hedge Fund range. If you fiddle with your influence some (Maybe drop a Caduceus for Architect, turn two of the Snare!s into Project Junebug) you could also consider Mushin No Shin which is both economy and bonus murder for this sort of deck.

Played a good friend's PPvP Kate last night. Beforehand, I dropped 2x Gyri for 2x Adonis. Managed to have more money AND flatline him with a combination of Ryon Knight and Snare!, even without help from Gyri.

I just gotta actually play with it more and feel out which of your suggestions fit the best for me. Thanks though for the help!
