Demon Kate Variant (9th Atomic Regionals)

Claytron 85

This was the deck I took to my first Regionals (2015 - Atomic Empire).

Wound up just shy of the cut in 9th place. Record was 5 wins of 7 games.

Corp is at: http://netrunnerdb.com/en/decklist/23943/operational

You should check out the original Demon Kate at: http://netrunnerdb.com/en/decklist/17510/demon-kate-2-0-1st-place-mtg-deals-sc-san-gabriel-ca-. It's great, and the write up says it all.

Game 1

Win v. Butchershop. Extremely careful with cards in hand. Sniped agendas when I was filthy rich and could afford to fight the midseasons.

Game 2

Win v. Industrial Genomics. Pulled up half his deck with a panic button, didn't see his combo, throws away all of those cards. I hit archives/HQ for the win.

Game 3

Win v. Butchershop. Nerve Agent + Imp sniped an agenda and a scorched-earth from the corp's hand. He immediately Jackson's it back it, hits me with a midseaons for 2-3 tags, and get's a traffic accident in. Lucky he didn't pull the kill-combo that turn. I lost the tags fairly shortly after, got filthy rich again, and won the game.

Game 4

Loss v. Butchershop. Got timid and let him score out an astroscript. Which got chained into a win.

Game 5

Loss v. Butchershop. Was sitting on 6 points, then got ultra tagged (18 tags). Went for what I thought was an agenda, but instead lost the rig + meat damage protection to a information overload. Without the protection, I was dead in a turn.

Game 6

Win v. RP.... after a million psi games. I got lucky and they didn't much econ all game. The hardest bit was having to get rid of a Blacklist behind 2 ice (thank you Femme Fatale). I got a few good hits on R&D early game to snag a couple of agendas (5 pts). Then I kept hitting TFP and loosing the psi-game. I hit 1 out of archives, and 9-10 hits on them in HQ. Eventually I got lucky and stole one.

Game 7

Win v. NEH fast advance. Took awhile to figure out they weren't Butchershop, but when I realized that, it was aggressive-running, Imp-ing econ, Nerve Agent on HQ, and game-over.
