Orion's Beltch

People will laugh. That's okay. It's normal, maybe even preferable.

Weyland Consortium: Because We Built It isn't the most highly regarded ID, and you know what? It's okay with that.

And so am I.

With the advent of the Constellation ICE you get quite a bit of value for your recurring ICE advancement credit, to the tune of about three credits for a click per turn if you have a piece of it out. It adds up quicker than you might think, especially as the Runner moves into rig building mode.

Scoring a Firmware means you can be more aggressive and even get an Orion or two up in a few turns. Just remember you can put the counters down on their turn and yours. Wait before putting the final fifth or third counter on something, because you can do it when they run.

The main course of strategy is this: ICE up centrals, putting larger ICE like Orion or Wormhole where you know they will run, and advance them. Use Shipments liberally and put Builders in front of Runners. It doesn't matter if they can access or Builder will do nothing alone over R&D, rez Builder, and now you can jump it around where it needs to be.

Throw Sub-Boost on things that help, Builder is a great target, but I've had success throwing all of them on an Orion or a Wormhole or whatever needs an ETR right now. There are even times you make an Ice Wall into a Firewall or Hadrians in short order.

Remote needs two ICE or more usually, one of the Constellations and a piece of ICE with Str =<4, like Spiderweb, Ice Wall or Changeling. Start small if possible, save your Trick of Lights till your ICE is rezzed for free, and just score and money up as necessary. If you can, Atlas counters are fantastic, they find you winning Agendas to Trick, your Tricks, or your Punitive Counterstrike if tons of points were grabbed on a lucky dig.

Put Turing where your getting hit hardest by AI if its an issue, your remote is really only there to get you to four points and two Trick of Lights, after that you can score out rather quickly.

Use Hollywood Renovation to help protect itself by advancing the Constellation ICE that should be in front of it.

Corporate Town and Cyberdex are there for stability, resetting Virus counters without a lose of turn, and blowing up Resources from behind a wall of ICE you want rezzed anyway. Use them to bait runs too if they're not helping right away with your matchup.

Commercialization starts out like a Beanstalk and becomes better the more you advance things, again, use it when you need money, it's not like a Hedge Fund that is credit dependent.

D4v1d will break about half of your ICE, accept this, and throw Sub-Boosts on things, and make sure you mix in your lower strength ICE to remotes or centrals. The real terror is Knight and E3. They will make your life a nightmare.

Jackson back the things you spent liberally, draw for the things you need and bait runs.

In sum, always advance, never surrender, and have fun making what is considered by many the least powerful ID work for you!
