Beckman, LeBeau and May: Consultation Firm

FarCryFromHuman 113

Last night my unconscious brain forgot about the "Shuffle your stack" line at the beginning of Windfall's text. The obvious conclusion was an Oracle May + Motivation + Windfall combo. If you see something you want, grab it and 2. If you don't, chuck it for whatever the install cost is. While the shuffle on Windfall certainly throws a wrench in my plans, the utility is still pretty impressive.

With 22/50 cards being resources, it's easy to hit with May, even without Motivation. With 32/50 cards able to be installed, redundant or niche, and worth 2+, Windfall is rarely a whiff.

Our breaker kit is Sunny's core Globalsec setup. Originally I had 3x Femme Fatale but ended up cutting two of them for 2x Networking, as this rig is rather vulnerable to tags and Data and Destiny is heading that way. Multithreaders and a Datasucker round out the kit.

I wanted to include more draw, but between Earthrise Hotel, Oracle May, and the nature of this deck being rather slow-roll, I think I'm covered.

The Dyson Mem Chip and the Networkings can be considered flex slots, as can the Liberated Accounts (although I really like these with Career Fair and they are wonderful targets for the core of the deck). I could see this working with Film Critics and New Angeles City Halls as well, but then it might be worth reconsidering the shards, Rachel Beckman, and Windfall, and that's no fun.

Surprised you didn't grab Security Chips for your Cloud Suite. It strikes me as a nice burst of strength when you need it. Multithreader gives you the recurring creds to deal with the inefficiencies of your breakers, but it's just a thought. Glad to see someone else remembered Networking was a card in the face of our Tagstorm futures.

Totally forgot Security Chips. If I move this over to a non-Windfall version they will get slotted for sure; hard to find space here though.

I'm not convinced about Security Nexus. Against the meta of 'very rich corps' (which is now) - I feel any other console is always going to be better. Unless you're going really hard on the link (like 5+) - the corp can always just tax you more than it was going to cost to break anyway, especially with Multithreaders and all that being strong recurring money. It makes sense - but the install cost is also a big hit.

I'm also convinced that Access to Globalsec is better in this deck - since you don't need extra memory - but clearly are going down the link path. (Your entire suite costs 4MU. - thank cloud breakers I guess!)
