Nonsense CT Paintbrush (Seattle Regionals 2014, Uncle's Game

SecurityRake 15

First tournament deck, 2014 Seattle regional at Uncle's Games. I think I only won one game the entire tournament, and it was with my corp deck. This is a testament to how bad I was. God look at it! So many lessons to be learned. Published for teaching purposes and laughs only. Insult freely.

-Way too many breaker copies for Shaper. No SMC (I think I thought it was too powerful? I really sucked at Shaper) -Test Run NO SCAVENGE. A truly amazing choice when I was running Dino. I mean what did I expect? Tutor them out with Test Run, then spend SHITTING LOTS OF TIME drawing, installing, and econ-ing when I could just run Scavenge and make it work cheaply? -No third Dinosaurus?!? Terrible! -Only two copies of Proco?! I seem to recall it was because that was something of a last minute add. Still, if you're running proco with no tutor, ALWAYS 3. -Not even enough memory for my full rig to be effective! -Reliant on Kati and Lucky Find for money, in a fairly click-intensive deck. Not the worst mistake but bad. Of course the card pool at the time had less clickless econ, and Kati was king. -Escher. Pet card. Actually fired off fairly well twice in the tournament. But as I said before, still lost those games. -Two Morning Stars. Well, without tutors and such, I guess that makes sense. Still, a heinous waste of influence that no one would ever, ever do. -One influence unused. WHY NO FEMME? Oh right because I have no way to get it out cheaply or memory to use it. HAH. -Influence in general, clearly didn't know the card pool enough to have any idea what to do with it. -2 Indexing, with 2 RDI. Not expressly terrible, but a bit overkill. Small decksize, could have used more money or options than just pounding on R&D all the time. Besides, a third RDI and no indexing is probably out and out better, and saves me a slot. Or, since I have no Modded and am lacking in money, perhaps go Makers. Two makers, one RDI for emergencies, would be PRETTY GOOD, and still save a slot. -Paintbrush. Huh. Not quite sure... what to do with that. -Levy. Two slots for Levy. Should have been one, or one and a SoT for additional flexibility. Just didn't think about that option really. Honestly the deck doesn't need it, that was just abject paranoia, and knowing that Shaper has the option to just FLIP THEIR HEAP back into the deck was too tempting not to slot at the time. -Honestly I could go RDI and Modded and build that way and have it make an awful lot of sense, or I could go events and SoT and have that make a lot of sense. Good options both ways.
