Corporate Blockbuster (0 to 7 In 1 Turn)

I Played this janky deck last night at a local meetup. I don't for a second think it's tournament viable, but I wanted to do two things. 1. Play core weyland again. 2. Go from 0 to 7 in one turn. I succeeded in both.

They key is to build a pretty good remote server, with the cosmic ice. upgrade your remotes with self destruct and neo tokyo grid, then install hollywood renovation and advance it (advancing your ice) if they get in destroy the server (leaving the ice) and try it again. Get that agenda to 7 or 8 advancements (Enough so you rez all your ice for free) Then wait. Jackson Howard until you get biotic labor and vanity project. Then your off. 1. Biotic Labor 2. Install Vanity Project. 3,4,5 advance Hollywood Renovation (place 2 advancements on Vanity Project for each advancement on Hollywood Renovation) Score both to get to 7.

It's a lot of fun, maybe other ID's would work better for this combo. D4v1D really hurts against the cosmic ice.

Is NeoTokyo Grid really worth costing four influence points? For the same price, you can have two Ash 2X3ZB9CY, or some Red Herrings, so you don't have to destruct the ICEs you just installed and advanced.

Anyway, good idea. Maybe should you add a second Biotic Labor in case you trash the first (because of Kim or some Wanton Destruction, for instance...).

@therealwarrior agreed on ) NeoTokyo Grid When I put it in, I was thinking I got the credit every time I advanced, not just the first time. That influence could certainly be used up for another ) Biotic Labor Playing weyland where ice is generally free to rez because of the advancements, I had a good deal of cash, the maybe 4 or 5 net credits I got off neo grid was not worth the influence.

@kjncl I'm not sure you read Self-destruct correctly. It destroys the agenda yes, but it would also destroy all the ice protecting your remote. I think you would be better off with Ash 2X3ZB9CY.

@Gilgamesh_KoH That's the second misread I had in the deck, I interpreted the OR in ) Self-Destruct as you could choose to not destroy the ice, it appears this is not the case. The deck hinges on the fact that I can keep the ice out. Ash) 2X3ZB9CY would .be better in this case

I commented on this in a different deck, but Media Blitz + Utopia Fragment seems absurdly strong in any Hollywood Renovation deck. Fast Track out your UF, feed it to the runner, and then sit back and advance your space ice. This archetype might be somewhat viable come D&D. Maybe run News Team and tag punishment for your centrals. Oh hey now it's a different deck.

@FarCryFromHuman Hmm there's a novel idea, advance your agenda naked and bait the runner to steal it so you can use Media Blitz to copy it, my use for Media Blitz will be in conjunction with Mandatory Upgrades

@kjncl Yeah, Media Blitz is going to be so fun, I can't even. I love the Mandatory Upgrades idea, that is just broken. That deck needs Kitsune for extra runner whiplash power. Totally unnecessary, don't do that.

I think this is as close as you get to making NeoTokyo Grid playable. ;)

I like the idea of the grid, but for a longer running overall gain, you might try Simone Diego. She can be used on the ice in front of the server as well as being used twice a turn. That would keep the function of the slot the same, but free up the influence.

@DarkTsunder Simone Diego is an awesome idea. I had just assumed I'd unsleeve the deck, but I may try it again with some of these suggestions.
