Quetzalcutlery

This was the runner deck I took to the Rules of Play store championship in Cardiff (joint 1st out of 15ish people). It lost one game against NEH fast advance and won three against PE, Haarpsichord and another PE.

The idea is to destroy ice with the cutlery suite, supported by Faust, Paintbrush and Quetzal's ability - supported by pre-paid voice pads and event economy.

Of course, the tastiest, creamiest ice is the ice over R&D. Once all that ice is gone, being a keyholing prick becomes so much easier. Haarpsichord and the two PEs were running very ice-light, making keyholes easier, but I did take the deck to a tournament before this one and it performs well against glacier too.

Sacrificial Construct is to make sure swordsman faceplants don't hurt. Turing and Swordsmen can be painted barrier beige and bludgeoned by to death by an angry utensil-wielding bird.

The deck is 48 cards mostly because I felt like adding more stuff and a 45-card deck isn't as important as people think. In retrospect, I'd make the following changes:

-2 Same Old Thing -1 Paintbrush -2 Armitage Codebusting +2 Lucky Find

Wow the paintbrush idea is great. But I will play 1 Paintbrush and 1 SMC.

I'm playing a similar deck, but with less resources and more events.
