Mergers and Acquisitions

A good ole fashioned, down and dirty criminal deck. Lots of pressure. Big money. Multi-access and R&D lock.

Step 1. Draw the cards you need.

  • Fisk Investment Seminar - Draws you 3 cards while flooding the Corp's HQ.
  • Hostage - Lets you grab your critical resources, while not having to waste deck slots or influence on redundancies.
  • Professional Contacts - "Why not baby eyes?" I hear you cry. It's not a contact; Hostage makes it more efficient in the mid game.
  • Special Order - Duh.

Step 2. Lock it down.

Step 3. Profit.

  • Run HQ first. Force the Corp to add a card from R&D to HQ; hopefully you get to access every card.
  • Run R&D next. You get to look at the next 2 cards after having cycled the lower card from your previous access from R&D to HQ with Fisk's ability.

Contemplating making some adjustments to fit Datasuckers to maximize the efficacy of the central server runs.

Been playing this with alot of success on Jinteki.net and at locals. Been playing a slight variation due to lack of 3rd core. -1 Desperado, -1 Daily Cast, +2 Inside Job

Been savinf fisk's ability and the Fisk Investment Seminar until the corp is going to score an agenda i can't access, setting up a nice legwork, or the corp is under 4 credits (to prevent them using that Hedge Fund they just drew)

How are you finding the Nerve agents? as personally i've seen not much use for them as HQ gets locked down against crim quick. Been tempted to trade them out for 1x DDoS/Self Modifying Code and 1x Eden Shard

@nixxus - For me, the Nerve Agents have been vital. You only need one in play, but the fast I get to it, the sooner the game ends. I occasionally drop the 2nd, if the corp is eager to purge. But then, in some match ups where I'm expecting a lot of traps in HQ, I forgo them all together.

I also try to invest early and often. Flooding the corp hand before they have the credits to support it can be a real boon. It can be a double edged sword, so watch out not to give a scorch deck it's critical components.

Lemme know how DDoS/SMC works out. that sounds like a fun variant.
