Red Box: Efficiency in Media Distribution

Kronosdev 51

This is a Redcoats variant I've been theorycrafting since Gencon. I am just now starting to test it and it seems pretty fearsome.

Efficiency Committee really pulls this deck together and allows for you to even further leverage the ability of Haas-Bioroid: Engineering the Future. The engine you should try to get online is Efficiency Committee and Eliza's Toybox. This lets you use the Toybox and take another click in the same turn, which you can use to install one of the 45 cards that proc your identity. The extra click lets you install agenda after agenda in your scoring remote which procs your ID, which then gets scored next turn which procs Team Sponsorship which procs your ID and lets you continue the train until the runner runs to try and stop it. The runner then gets forced to run and blow all their resources while you just calmly install another asset or agenda next turn a la Redcoats.

Agenda choices need to be addressed, mainly because Redcoats defined itself in a way by running NAPD Contract and this deck does not. With the release of Film Critic and its omnipresence in my metagame I chose an agenda suite with no on-access effects, instead opting for as many on-score abilities as possible. You could easily get one card slot back by dropping Bifrost Array and The Future is Now, but I think both of their abilities are too powerful and that having one of each of them in this deck greatly increases its versatility and power. Bifrost Array is only ever a dead draw in this deck if the only agenda you see before it is Project Vitruvius and even then sometimes a point can win you the game or be used to bait your opponent. The Future is Now is a great one of in any deck, especially one with any kind of combo pieces or click synergy. Score The Future is Now with Team Sponsorship on the board and you get to install whatever you tutor that turn. You might be able to fire Accelerated Beta Test a little more riskily in this deck, especially if you have a rezzed Team Sponsorship.

The assets and upgrades are all standard faire, with the exception of the three Tech Startup and one of Levy University. Tech Startup is fantastic because it either baits a run or gets you exactly what you want, both of which Redcoats loves. Nothing is better when your Tech Startup opens a four point scoring window. The Levy University is an exercise in experimenting with bad cards to see if I can make them good at something, and I'm happy with Levy's performance in this deck. It has been increasing the quality of my Eliza's Toybox plays quite a bit, enough to make them consistently profitable. Cut it if you don't like it though, it's your deck.

I tested this deck with two Archived Memories and found them both to be a huge part of my strategy and wonderful to have around, but 54 cards had to fall to 49 somehow. If you find a way to get this card back in let me know.

And the ICE suite is a crap shoot. Everything that is here needs to be here (for the most part) but it's pretty ugly. With four dedicated Eliza's Toybox targets and then a hodgepodge of other targets for Levy University to search up if you should need answers to a Faust deck, Yog.0, or whatever else. I suggest Heimdall 2.0 and Janus 1.0 on centrals and Wotan on your scoring remote, with Tollbooth going wherever to fill in the gaps. Femme Fatale ruins your day, and if you see it on a London Library you basically have to race to see who can win first. If you come up with an alternate suite that can survive the beginning and still tax this much in the middle-end I would like to see it, but this is what I've got so far.
