Double-Barreled Sausagesaurus

I threw this deck together for a friend who's fairly new to Netrunner to ease him into deckbuilding. There's nothing terrible revolutionary here, but I was also rather impressed with how simple and effective it is. I've tried Sausagesaurus builds in Gabe Kaplan: Public Schoolteacher decks before and just never got it to work out. CT's smaller deck size is perfect for this build, I think.

I tried to get around Sausage's obvious expensive downside by setting up a solid drip economy with Java Update, and Selling Infants does a lot of work in this deck as well. I just don't really have the space for a Neil deGrasse Man Cave to fish out Tiny Lizard, but I could honestly cut one Reset Button.

Other possible cards? I don't want to really mess too much with the overall balance of things, but I could see maybe a Payday Lender to get cash off of spent Sneaky Flash ROMs and get them in the trash for a PowerCycle recursion. Christopher Walken Builds Optimus Prime can easily be swapped out for a one-of in-faction or neutral resource, like a Your Movie Sucks, Mr. Schneider depending on meta or a Gattaca Wasn't THAT Bad, You Guys if you want two credits for two draws. Multiaccess is a little light with only the singleton Maker's Mark, but S.O.T. helps there. I just can't justify cutting the economy with an expensive breaker like Sausage to make room for a Nerf Agent.

I like it. Simple, effective, walk through most ICE in the game as long as your cash holds out, which it won't forever - so take your double-barreled Sausage Dinosaur and kick the door in - it'll probably come off.

Oh, and don't run on traps. I've never hit one but I hear they're just awful.

This deck would excel even higher if you include e3 Feedback Implants. It saves money on Sage, stealth tokens on Ghost Runner/Switchblade, and tokens on Overmind.

@randitrigger A Blue Money Hand? I'd have to give up a Pool Chick for it, but that hardware can be almost an econ card in itself. I can't see anything to cut to run a 2-of, maybe go -1 Pigsticker?

I just realized - I don't see how that card saves Jaunty Apparation credits with Stab Party when you have to spend 2 stealth to even break subs and you're already breaking ALL of them.

Ah, you're correct. I forgot just how powerful Switchblade was.

I don't know why you spend influence on Switchblade when Dagger is in faction. It's also less demanding on those Ghost Runners. That saves you influence for Legwork or HQ Interface, or more disruptive cards like Employee Strike. Unless of course, you're not wanting to put in cards past the Valley because your friend doesn't have them. That could be it. Never mind then.

In which case I just want to say I had a giggle at your card names.

@RubbishyUsername I thought about Whittlin' Knife, but my concerns are mostly Chet Manly-related. Frog Gigger takes the same amount of stealth creds and passes a 4 savings per run on to you! Is it worth splashing in multi-access or more disruptive cards? Could be.

I think dropping one of them for a Hoofin' It might be a solid call, since with 2 Yadda, Yadda, Yadda on the board I could threaten HQ or R&D multiaccess evenly. This deck doesn't seem to have too many problems getting the breakers out unless somehow all of my programs have ended up at the bottom of the stack all cozy-like.
