Stealthier Kit

Stonewick 132

This is a slightly modified version of Seamus' Kit deck that I have had a lot of success with.

I also considered Career Fair for this deck. Is it worth the deck space and influence? How useful is Bookmark?

Weeeeeeeeeeeeird I've been a similar decklist to this! I too was modifying off of Seamus' but I left in the Deus X, but I did use influence for Career Fair rather than Mimic & the shard. I don't miss the Mimic but I think the shard would be worth its place.

Bookmark is fun, but probably not as good as Plascrete for what it is there for, and most of the time with this deck you don't get to make use of the overdraw safety valve.

Does Film Critic make you feel safer/more in control? I have yet to try using that.

@b3ar The use of career fair is what I feel is the primary difference between my list and Seamus'. Its another card to help reduce the tempo loss of installing Professional Contacts. I'd definitely say its worth the influence. I never really found the want or need for mimic, and while utopia shard is nice, Professional Contacts for 2 is even nicer. Also, Career Fair makes it so that daily casts and kati jones are free to install. It helps alleviate some of the tempo lost by installing those. I havent really used bookmark too much. There just isnt much of an opportunity to overdraw (as Cliquil pointed out above). I am considering just going back to Plascrete Carapace.

@Cliquil Ha, nice! Great minds think alike? Yeah, Utopia is pretty nice, I just feel that Career fair reduces the tempo hit from Pro-Co, which lets you continue to be aggressive early on and still draw to find the rest of your pieces. As I'm sure you know, the deck isn't poor, but it isn't exactly rich either. The Film Critic include is very useful in certain matches (looking at you RP and Butchershop) but by no means is it absolutely necessary. It really just serves as an extra safety valve.

This is a wonderful deck. Get your contacts our and sit back and let your rig build itself. I've been playing a similar deck for a little while and it's great fun. Nice work.
