7th Geist

I've been running Geist for quite a while now, and this is the latest iteration of the way I play him. While I know there are quite a few versions of this Cloud builds, and even nice variations on more straight-forward breaker builds, I feel like I've packed in a ton of triggers for his ability while still relying mainly on more of a standard breaker suite.

Where I'm at with him now:

  • Peddler is an obvious include to me. It's a trigger, and a discount, and a nice dig. It's all win.

  • Gorman Drip has been in my build for a while and it's nice pressure. It's an econ/draw trigger, but being an old Noise player, I LOVE to see the corp waste a turn clearing virus counters; or not. If they don't, that's all the same to me.

  • Hook + E3 is a hail back to when I seriously started playing Crim using Leela. I had great success with my Tai Chi build using it, and later learned that you'd prefer to supplement that combo with standard breakers. Now, the Hook is even better since it's a draw trigger.

  • So many people are running multiple remotes that I feel Bank Job is wonderful in this deck. I love what Security Testing does, and maybe some day I'll switch, but to date I like that it forces the corp to deny my those credits, otherwise I get a huge burst of credits.

I think those are the biggest things that seem to be different, at least in concert, than how I usually see Geist used.

I'd find place for 2 security and 2 bank job too. Security is every turn.

I understand that, however, this build is fast and pays out 3.5 turns of SC in a single turn. That's great acceleration.

I get that, however this build moves quickly and rewards its players with 3.5 turns of SC in a single step. Wow, that's a lot of speed. moto x3m
