Synergy Overload

nobo 1847

You could power a small town with the synergy from this deck!

So, we've identified two ways you can build this Autoscripter Geist.

1) TME/SacCon/Security Chip

2) Apocalypse

I think (1) is better, but I want to go all in on (2) before I write it off. Thanks to @x3r0h0ur, @stoppableforce, and @BENJI9520 for helping test this sweet Geist tech.

Without more in the description, I'm not sure if you know this, but the following cards do not trigger Geist's -activated ability:

Autoscripter (Sacrificial Construct does though, so I get that)

Chop Bot 3000

Bank Job

These effects trash cards, but are not " abilities," which specifically require the icon in the cost of the ability. If I am wrong about this I would dearly love to be corrected.

You're not wrong. it has to have the icon to be
a " ability."

I know these things. What I don't know is how you embed icons into comments. Fancy internet kids!

Haha, you use the $ symbol. Try it, you'll get a list of symbol options that filter as you type, just like if you used # to insert a card or @ to insert a player name.

As for the deck, what's the synergy with Autoscripter outside of the potential Sacrificial Construct include? I'm just not seeing it.

Autoscripter gives you clicks back for installing breaker suite. You're installing often and not often failing runs, so it has more value here than might otherwise be imagined.

Cache seems like an unusual include. I suppose it gives Chop Bot food and with cloud you're not worried about memory. I'd rather play Independent Thinking than Chop Bot though (synergizes better post-Apocalypse), but maybe you've tested it and found it better.

How has chop bot been working for you? I feel as though 2x quality time would be better suited as you are mainly just using it for card draw. Will test it out.

@tzeentchling very interesting thought! I was only considering Aesops or Chopbot... but this might change things.

@BENJI9520 I'm mostly trying to get use out of post-apocalypse face downs, not just draw. If you're already playing Chopbot Cache is two credits and a card, click-free with Autoscripter.

I generally think Apocalypse Geist needs a way to trash face downs, as doing the whole 'clone chip to trash your rig' thing is overly difficult to set up, but on the other hand you're screwed if you bury too many cloud breakers.

Just for reference, here is where I got after a handful of games, though I want to continue testing security chip, since it can really ambush the corp, especially off of peddler.

I find myself stuck being frugal with runs, so overmind is a definite positive. Also I ventured into eater and more derez/denial effects, and it was fine, but didn't mesh with the rest of the deck.

I'm not huge on apoc, so I can't speak to this specific build, but it looks fun.

@x3r0h0ur Yeah it's really good, but I think you need to get off Crescentus. It's just not great.

@tzeentchling I tested tonight with Independent Thinking and it was amazing. So unfortunately, I think the Chop Bot iteration has been invalidated. Independent seems to be the way forward.
