Apex Safety Chopbot

tendermovement 51

This deck is a big rig version of Apex. It doesn't really rely on the use of Apocalypse, although one copy is included.

The idea is to get down all your resources and Chop a card a turn to cycle through the deck and at the same time gain cash from Wastelands and Data Foldings. Safety First with Brain Cage gives you an extra draw when you have played all of your stuff on the table.

Ninja blows through many sentries that don't have "end the run" and Key Master kills Turings on remotes. You can still Prey them on centrals. Endless Hunger and E3 allow you to break other things with minimal money and Key Master and Ninja will help if you don't want to spend a card.

The greatest weakness is setup time. You'll need to get a Leprechaun to install Endless Hunger on and Data Foldings and Wastelands to power your economy. It does go through almost anything after the rig is assembled and doesn't run out of cash as Chop Bot, 3 Data Foldings and 3 Wastelands will allow you to gain 6 credits at the start of each turn, if you spend the card installed with Apex's ability for chopping.

Save Levy for when you've cycled through the whole deck and assembled your rig. Then put everything back and just lay things on the table for Endless Hunger and end the game.

IMO, if you're gonna play Ninja, you need NRE. Perhaps cut an e3 to make room?

@esutter479 I might replace it with a Creeper for just 1 influence and more "synergy" with E3 and see what else I can fit in there with the leftover influence.

Mostly you want to break upo to strength 5 sentries that have traces or trash programs on them like Grim or Assassins. Ninja breaks them for 4-5, Creeper for 5-6 but is also more generally useful for other low strength sentries. Also only takes 1 influence. Mimic was in the deck for a while but it needs support from other things so I dropped it.

Yup, I mainly had Archer on my mind when I made that NRE recommendation. :) Creeper may get expensive, but if you can afford it, more power to ya. The e3 synergy is a valid reason to include it.
