Powerhouse ICE

Koiring 2

This is my first attempt at making a deck with the cards that I have. Only one core set and the full first cycle: Genesis.

My intention was to build up a substantial economy with Caduceus and all the campaigns, while beefing up any of my advance-able ICE. Having Salvage sap their credits and possibly putting on tags to Scorched Earth.

Any input would be of great help!

The best input I can give you is to get Order & Chaos. The "space ICE" is a huge boost in power to the otherwise underwhelming advanceable ICE suite. Here are the three pieces in question:

Asteroid Belt: This is the weakest of the set, but can replace one or both Hadrian's Wall, which is a pain to rez.

Wormhole: This is probably the best piece of ICE Weyland has after Archer. It is absurdly flexible, has a good rez to strength ratio after only one advancement, and is brutal to deal with for most runners. Salvage is total crap, and this easily replaces it.

Nebula: I've recently grown to love this guy. High strength sentries are always taxing. The nature of destroyers forces hard choices onto most runners, especially when face-checking. Shadow will basically never land, I'd replace both and maybe one Archer (I've found rezzing more than one Archer to be too big of a setback).

Orion: This is the big beast. The runner can use any type of breaker to get through it, but it will tax them regardless. It's unique, so I only ever include one, but it almost always does work. It's also great with Commercialization, but that card is questionable.

If you are looking for a smaller investment than a deluxe box, Old Hollywood gives you Hollywood Renovation, a fantastic agenda for advanceable ICE decks.

Hey @FarCryFromHuman! Sorry it's taken me so long to reply. I really appreciate the advice you gave and I did end up getting several more data packs, Creation and Control, Order and Chaos, and Honor and Profit.

I'll have to take another look at this deck with the cards that I have. I still like the idea of this identity, and I'm eager to modify and play with it!
