Nexus Kate (NaPD legal)

lilelia 323

Took out a nexus for another trade in to make it legal.

Use test run (usually with femme) to threaten early while you set up your nexus engine and drip econ, then snipe remotes/RnD lock for the win.

I'd rather drop the Power Taps entirely; they shouldn't be needed with Magnum, That lets you have the second Nexus, which is way better than another Trade In (which is usually a last resort anyhow, and not something you actually want to be using). The extra slots can then be used tor SMCs to make your early game better.

Tbh, even before the change I'd often use Trade-In in a match, and not always to fetch Nexus. Seeing a hole in a central server you want to exploit and being able to fetch the relevant interface is quite useful, and this deck actually uses its clone chips a lot less often than most.

I also don't particularly like opus as an econ engine; it's necessary here to set up, but I don't want to be clicking it too much once I have, so I like the extra boost that the power taps provide. That is probably a result of my play-style though, and I could easily see them being taken out with someone else piloting.
